Δυναμικό μπάσιμο στη νέα δεκαετία

Το πιο αγαπημένο τους άλμπουμ για μένα, το καλύτερο των δύο κόσμων (70s hard rock, 80s New Wave of Heavy Metal), ζυγισμένο και με επιτυχίες, δηλαδή singles, και με συνολική αποτίμηση σαν δίσκος, αν όχι 10, τότε ένα άρτιο 9άρι. Έχει ακόμα μια πιο παλιομοδίτικη αισθητική, κάτι που θα αλλάξει ακόμη περισσότερο από το επόμενο Renegade, μέσα σε διάστημα ενός έτους. Ο πίνακας του κινέζικου δράκου, πάλι από τον συνήθη ύποπτο Jim Fitzpatrick, στο εξώφυλλο, έγινε από τατουάζ μέχρι και έμπνευση για σχέδια σε μπλουζάκια τότε. Μουσικά, είπαμε, οριακά αψεγάδιαστο, αφού περιέχει κομμάτια όπως τα Chinatown, We Will Be Strong, Sweetheart, Killer On The Loose, Genocide (το οποίο έχουν διασκευάσει οι Running Wild χρόνια αργότερα), Dint I, Hey You, άρα νομίζω καταλαβαίνετε τι εννοώ. Αν όχι, ακούστε το "χθες".

A Powerful Kickoff into the New Decade

For me, their favorite album—the best of both worlds (70s hard rock and 80s New Wave of Heavy Metal)—carefully balanced with hits, meaning singles, and an overall rating as an album. If not a perfect 10, then a solid 9. It still carries a somewhat old-fashioned aesthetic, something that will change even more with the next Renegade, within just a year. The Chinese dragon painting, again by the usual suspect Jim Fitzpatrick on the cover, was turned into a tattoo and even inspired T-shirt designs back then. Musically, as I said, almost flawless, containing tracks like Chinatown, We Will Be Strong, Sweetheart, Killer On The Loose, Genocide (which was covered years later by Running Wild), Dint I, Hey You—so I think you get what I mean. If not, give a listen to "Yesterday."
