Garguts,
an American Sludge Metal band formed in September 2023 in New Orleans,

APOSENTO, the seasoned Spanish Death Metal outfit
established in 1990, has unveiled the artwork for their upcoming 4th album,
"No Safe Haven," continuing their collaboration with artist Naroa

slated for release on July 2nd via Xtreem Music across multiple formats.

κάποια κομμάτια.Η περιοδεία για το Fear
Of The Dark κράτησε πολύ και από εκεί και διάφορες ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις είναι η
ζωντανή αυτή ηχογράφηση. Το να χωριστεί το υλικό σε "νεότερο και
"παλιό" μάλλον ήταν ιδέα του management ή της δισκογραφικής για
ευνόητους οικονομικούς λόγους! Δύο ζωντανοί δίσκοι την ίδια χρονιά (βάλτε και
το περιορισμένης κυκλοφορίας τότε Live At Donington, τρεις)είναι πολλοί, τουλάχιστον το 1998
ενοποιήθηκαν σε ένα διπλό CD με τίτλο A Real Live Dead One. Βγήκε και το Live

The Night of the Living Dead.
Part B of A Real Live One was recorded half a year
earlier and comprises material from 1980 to 1984, which one can hardly deem
dead, in contrast to Dickinson's voice, which begins to exhibit clear signs
of... weariness in certain tracks. The Fear of the Dark tour endured quite
long, and this live recording stems from various European cities. The decision
to categorize the material into "newer" and "older" was
likely conceived by the management or the record label for obvious financial
reasons! Releasing two live albums in the same year (not to mention the limited
release Live At Donington, making it three) seems excessive; at least by 1998,
they were amalgamated into a double CD titled A Real Live Dead One. Live At
Donington was also issued as a standard double album, further dissipating our
funds.
ELVELLON, the emerging force in symphonic metal, has
unveiled their latest single, "My Forever Endeavour," heralding the

αρχήν να ξεκαθαρίσουμε κάτι οι MARATHON είναι διαφορετική οντότητα από τις
δουλειές που κυκλοφορείς κάτω από το όνομά σου; Κι αν ναι που διαφοροποιούνται;
Χαίρετε φίλε μου και σε ευχαριστώ για το support
Ουσιαστικά Miltos Marathon και
Μιλτιάδης Χαλκίδης είναι το ίδιο και το αυτό.... Υπό το όνομα Miltos Marathon
γράφω της Αγγλόφωνες συνθέσεις και υπό το Μιλτιάδης Χαλκίδης της συνθέσεις στα Ελληνικά και αυτό χάριν
πρακτικότητας.....
Ο φίλοι μου στο εξωτερικό μπορούσαν να προφέρουν ευκολότερα το Miltos
Marathon ...το Μιλτιάδης Χαλκίδης το πρόφεραν σαν.... Μιλτάιντις Καλκάιντις και
αυτό ακούγεται κάπως σαν χαρακτήρας από παιδικό κινούμενο σχέδιο.... Επίσης
παλαιότερα χρησιμοποιούσα σκέτο τo Marathon... άλλα νομίζω υπάρχουν και μερικά
ακόμη συγκροτήματα με αυτό το όνομα ...
Τελικά κατέληξα στο Miltos Marathon που ουσιαστικά σημαίνει ο Μαραθώνιος
του Μίλτου και νομίζω ότι μετά από 30
χρόνια με δικαιώνει η επιλογή αυτού του
ονόματος
2. Ο νέος δίσκος σου έχει τον
τίτλο «ΚΡΙΣΕΙΣ,ΚΟΡΕΣ & ΥΙΟΙ». Πως προέκυψε; Και ποιες είναι οι κόρες και οι
υιοί;
Οι κρίσεις ουσιαστικά είναι οι γνωστές σε όλους μας κρίσεις που
διέρχεται η Ελλαδίτσα σχεδόν από την επανάσταση του 1821 και έπειτα... Οι κόρες
και οι υιοί είμαστε όλοι εμείς .. άντρες γυναίκες ... αγόρια κορίτσια ..
Έχει μια ποιητική διάθεση η επιλογή του τίτλου....
3.Η νέα σου κυκλοφορία
βγάζει έναν πεσιμισμό. Τουλάχιστον αυτό εισπράττω εγώ κι εν μέρει το κατανοώ με
όλα αυτά που περάσαμε και περνάμε, αλλά από την άλλη υπάρχει για σένα λόγος να
ελπίζουμε για το μέλλον;
Δεν αποσκοπούσα στο να δώσω πεσιμιστική διάθεση σε αυτόν τον δίσκο και
γενικά σε όλες μου τις δουλειές προσπαθώ να αποβάλλω την μιζέρια....
Άπλα στο συγκεκριμένο άλμπουμ
παρουσιάζω χοντροκομμένα και ωμά ,ίσως και με λίγο μαύρο χιούμορ διάφορες
καταστάσεις που βλέπω και βιώνω στην χώρα μου και στον πλανήτη γενικότερα...
Είμαι ιδιαίτερα αισιόδοξος και άνθρωπος ,με θετική διάθεση και γενικά
δεν πτοούμε από τίποτα για αυτό άλλωστε και συνεχίζω να κάνω αυτά που αγαπάω
...
Νομίζω ότι ο ακροατής που εισπράττει πεσιμισμό από αυτό το δίσκο πρέπει
να τον ξανακούσει και τελικά θα καταλάβει ότι αυτά που περιγράφονται εκεί
μουσικά, είναι ουσιαστικά μια αντικειμενική παρουσίαση πραγματικών καταστάσεων
...
Στον ίδιο δίσκο βέβαια θα βρει και τα εφόδια που μπορεί να
χρησιμοποιήσει για να αποβάλει την αρνητικότατα και γιατί όχι να επηρεαστεί
θετικά και να προσπαθήσει να αλλάξει το πράγματα και τον εαυτό του προς το
καλύτερο!
4. Με αφορμή το τραγούδι
«Άνθρωποι παλαιοί» τελικά ισχύει για σένα το κάθε πέρυσι και παλαιότερα; Μήπως,
εξωραΐζεις κάπως τα πράγματα;
Είχα την ευτυχία να γνωρίσω και να συνομιλήσω με ανθρώπους από
πραγματικά άλλους καιρούς που βιώσαν άλλες καταστάσεις και μου τις περιέγραψαν
στις ιστορίες που μου διηγήθηκαν... Οι παππούδες μου ξεπέρασαν τα 100 χρόνια
ζωής και η εν ζωή μητέρα μου είναι στα 90 και ακμαιότατη... Ποντιακής καταγωγής
όλοι μας.... φανταστείτε ότι μου είπαν
ιστορίες από τον καιρό τον
παππούδων τους άρα μιλάμε για τουλάχιστον 200 και πλέον χρόνια πίσω.....
Έτσι μου ήρθε η έμπνευση να γράψω το "Άνθρωποι παλαιοί"...
Έχει και αυτό το τραγούδι μια ρομαντική διάθεση!
5. Θέλω να μου εξηγήσεις
λίγο τον τίτλο του τραγουδιού «Μύτο γάμπα καπνιστή» γιατί ειλικρινά δεν το
έπιασα το νόημα.
Το "Μύτο γάμπα καπνιστή" είναι ένα τραγούδι κατά της χρήσης
ναρκωτικών ουσιών..... ο τίτλος αναφέρετε σε τεχνικές χρήσης ναρκωτικών και
συναντάτε συχνά στης συνομιλίες στην αργκό γλώσσα των εξαρτημένων
ανθρώπων...Είχα πολλούς φίλους οι οποίοι πραγματικά καταστράφηκαν από αυτά τα
διαόλια ....
Βέβαια ναρκωτικά δεν είναι μόνο οι χημικές ουσίες ...Είναι ότι αποτελεί
εξάρτηση και στις μέρες μας υπάρχουν πολλές και σε ποικίλες μορφές εξαρτήσεις .... και ψηφιακές και
αναλογικές... Για αυτό το Νου σας
6. Τελικά Μίλτο ανήκουμε στη
Δύση ή ξεπουληθήκαμε στην Δύση;
Ούτε το ένα ούτε το άλλο.....
Πάντα στην μέση ήμασταν ...κοιτάμε και στην Ανατολή και στην δύση....
και πολιτιστικά αλληλοεπιδρούμε εδώ και αιώνες
με όλους....
Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι δεχόμαστε αμάσητα και αφιλτράριστα όλα τα αρνητικά
της Δύσης και ενίοτε και της Ανατολής... θεωρώ ότι πρέπει να κάνουμε κάτι δικό
μας και όχι σώνει και κάλα να αντιγράψουμε άλλους πολιτισμούς...αυτό μας έχει
φάει ο ...μιμητισμός....
7. Όταν έγραφες τον δίσκο
«ΚΡΙΣΕΙΣ ΚΟΡΕΣ & ΥΙΟΙ» ήξερες ότι έπιανες θέματα που θα δημιουργήσουν
έντονες αντιδράσεις. Αυτό το έκανες με σκοπό να προκαλέσεις ή να βάλεις τον
ακροατή σε μια διαδικασία σκέψης;
Με την μουσική μου και τον τρόπο που συνθέτω ναι ομολογώ ότι πολλές
φορές θέλω να προκαλέσω λίγο το αυτί του ακροατή μου ...Το να προκαλέσω με την
θεματολόγια των τραγουδιών μου όμως είναι παράγωγο της διαδικασίας του να βάλω
τον ακροατή όντως να σκεφτεί λίγο βαθύτερα...
Έχει να κάνει νομίζω με το πως θα εκλάβει ο εκάστοτε ακροατής τελικά το τι ακούει ...σε τι
κατάσταση βρίσκεται ψυχοσωματικά την κάθε στιγμή
Κατέληξα τελικώς στο συμπέρασμα, από την πείρα μου πλέον... ότι ο ίδιος άνθρωπος που τώρα ίσως
να μην του αρέσει η μουσική μου στο μέλλον ίσως αλλάξει γνώμη και
αντίθετα...ποτέ δεν μπορείς να είσαι σίγουρος και αυτό είναι το μονό σίγουρο...
Στο κάτω κάτω τις γραφής εγώ μουσική θέλω να μοιραστώ και όχι να
κάνω...marketing και να κυνηγήσω target group!
Προσωπικά και με το χέρι στην καρδία μου πάντως οι προθέσεις μου είναι
πάντα κάλες αλλιώς θα έκανα άλλα πράγματα και θα τα παρουσίαζα με τέτοιο τρόπο
που θα "τσίμπαγα όλα τα φράγκα του δυνητικού μου ακροατή χεχε!
8. Το εξώφυλλο του νέου
δίσκου είναι εξαιρετικό. Ποιος ο/η καλλιτέχνης που το σχεδίασε και πως το
εμπνεύστηκε;
Το συγκεκριμένο εξώφυλλο καθώς και κάποια από τα προηγούμενα εξώφυλλα
των δίσκων μου τα σχεδίασε ο Μάριος Μπόρας ένας επίσης Λαρισαίος καλλιτέχνης
(δουλειές του οποίου μπορείτε να βρείτε στο διαδίκτυο) κατόπιν δικής μου
καθοδήγησης...
Ο γκρεμός συμβολίζει όλα τα αρνητικά ... εκεί άλλωστε οδηγούν οι
κρίσεις... Το γαϊδουράκι είναι ένα ταπεινό μεν άλλα πείσμων ζώο το οποίο με την
εργατικότητα και την δύναμη του αντιστέκεται και τραβάει κόντρα στις αρνητικότατες...επίσης
έχει και μεγάλο γεννητικό όργανο!
9. Ποιες οι δυσκολίες να τα
κάνεις όλα μόνος σου Μίλτο και ποια η χαρά σ’ όλο αυτό;
Από την αρχή ...όταν στα προεφηβικά μου χρόνια άρχισα να ασχολούμαι με
την μουσική... αυτό το οποίο ήθελα ήταν άπλα να παίζω την κιθάρα μου!..
Ως αυτοδίδακτος ...άρχισα από μόνος να μαθαίνω τα του οργάνου...στην
πορεία άρχισα να τραγουδάω κατά ανάγκη επειδή ένας τραγουδιστής σε ένα γκρουπ
που είχαμε τότε δεν εμφανίστηκε ποτέ σε ένα live ....και αργότερα όταν ήθελα να
γράφω τα δικά μου τραγούδια δεν μπορούσα να βρω μουσικούς γιατί κατά βάση οι
περισσότεροι βαριόνταν να ασχοληθούν λίγο πιο σοβαρά...
Έτσι άρχισα να παίζω εγώ τα υπόλοιπα όργανα και έμαθα νότες μόνος όταν
πριν χρόνια έκοψα το κάπνισμα...
Μιας και τα οικονομικά μου δεν μπορούσαν να καλύψουν τις απαιτήσεις ενός
στούντιο για ηχογραφήσεις και μουσικά βίντεο .... έφτιαξα μόνος μου τον δικό
μου χώρο και έμαθα τα τις παράγωγης ήχου και εικόνας και τελικά ανέλαβα και το
promotion γιατί ουσιαστικά δεν υπήρχε μια αντίστοιχη εταιρία στην Ελλάδα να με
βοηθήσει...
Με δυο λόγια θα έλεγα ότι είμαι το ζωντανό παράδειγμα του "η πενία
τέχνας κατεργάζεται"
Αντικειμενικά όμως και αυτό το λέω με πικρία και παράπονο, νομίζω ότι
κανένας όλα αυτά τα χρόνια δεν θέλησε να
μοιραστεί το όνειρο και το όραμα που έχω σχετικά με την μουσική μου και αυτά
που κάνω...μη σου πω ότι χόρτασα και από τρικλοποδιές...
Βέβαια επειδή αγαπώ αυτό που κάνω απλώς θα συνεχίσω να το κάνω...
έτσι.... και με τα θετικά του και τα αρνητικά του ..σάματις....
10. «Γράμμα από το αγέννητο
παιδί μου» πιστεύω ότι είναι ένα από τα πιο προσωπικά τραγούδια που χεις
γράψει. Αυτή την εντύπωση έχω. Θες να το σχολιάσεις;
Θα προτιμούσα όχι... Θα αφήσω να πλανάτε ένα μυστήριο γύρω από αυτήν την
σύνθεση... ίσως στο μέλλον.... ίδωμεν!
11. Αλήθεια ποια είναι για
σένα η πιο heavy metal σύνθεση που χεις γράψει μέχρι τώρα στην καριέρα σου και
γιατί;
Χμμ δεν το σκέφτηκα να είμαι ειλικρινής.... Ίσωςτο "You Don't"
(mess around with me) ...
Ξέρεις αγαπώ όλη την μουσική σε όλο της το φάσμα και πολλές φορές ακούω
και πράγματα τελείως διαφορετικά μεταξύ τους... πολλές φορές και στην ίδια play
list μου.... δηλαδή λαικα ανάμεικτα με Heavy metal και καπάκι ethnic μετά
κλασική μουσική ...rock blues ...για αυτό άλλωστε έχω και αρκετή ποικιλομορφία
στους δίσκους μου και δεν κάθομαι να παίξω ένα συγκεκριμένο μόνο είδος....
Έχω τόσο πολλή μουσική μέσα στο κεφάλι μου που πρέπει να την κοινοποιήσω να την εκφράσω κάπως...
Κατά βάθος σκέφτομαι ότι μάλλον λειτουργώ ως συνθέτης...εννοώ αποσκοπώ
στο να γράφω και να κυκλοφορώ την μουσική μου όπως την φαντάζομαι (με τα θετικά
και τα αρνητικά και τις ατέλειες της) και ίσως στο μέλλον κάποιος άλλος
καλλιτέχνης την διασκευάσει...
Θα μου άρεσε πολύ αυτό και ομολογώ ότι στο παρελθόν κάποιοι νεότεροι
καλλιτέχνες ηλικιακά στην πόλη μου το έκαναν αυτό... με τίμησε ιδιαίτερα που
παίξαν τραγούδι μου και ομολογώ με συγκίνησε και κάπως....
12. Ποια είναι η
τραγουδίστρια που συμμετέχει σε κάποιες από τις συνθέσεις;
Η Βερόνικα Δούκα...
Να είναι καλά η κοπέλα που δέχτηκε να συμμετάσχει στο άλμπουμ....
Είναι δύσκολο να βρεις καλές φωνές και με όρεξη για δουλειά....
Εδώ επανέρχομαι στο θέμα με τους συνεργάτες που ανέφερα και πριν!
13.Τι να περιμένουμε για το
μέλλον;
Σίγουρα αρκετά ακόμη άλμπουμ και μουσικά βίντεο να τα συντροφεύουν...τον
ακριβή αριθμό δεν τον ξέρω ούτε εγώ ακόμη χάχα... άλλα είναι αρκετά τα
τραγούδια που έχω ακόμη να βγάλω....
Οπωσδήποτε ετοιμάζω και ένα σύστημα φωτοβολταϊκών για να αυτονομηθώ και
να παράγω μουσική με ενέργεια φιλική προς το περιβάλλων... και πρώτα ο Θεός να
είμαστε κάλα ετοιμάζω και μια σειρά από καλλιτεχνικές δραστηριότητες που
σχετίζονται με τον ήχο και την εικόνα...δεν θα ήθελα να επεκταθώ προς το
παρών γιατί είναι στα σπάργανα η ιδέα
μου ακόμη...
Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι ότι δεν επαναπαύομαι ...
Ανά τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα ενημερώνω την επίσημη ιστοσελίδα μου www.miltosmarathon.com και είμαι
επίσης ενεργός στα social media ,επομένως εύκολα μπορεί κάποιος να με
αναζητήσει και να ενημερωθεί για τα μελλοντικά μου σχέδια μιας και συχνά
κοινοποιώ τα όσα πραγματεύομαι!
14. Κλείσε την συνέντευξη όπως κρίνεις εσύ…..
Χίλια δόξα το Θεό που η Θεία πρόνοια με αξίωσε και είχα έναν Πάτερα και
μια Μητέρα καθώς και μια θεία που με στήριξαν στην επιλογή μου με την
μουσική.... τους είμαι παντοτινά ευγνώμων...
Σε ευχαριστώ φίλε Νίκο για το support όλα αυτά τα χρόνια .... Το εκτιμώ
βαθύτατα...
Σε όλους τους φίλους ανά την υφήλιο που ακούνε την μουσική μου και
στηρίζουν τις προσπαθείς μου ένα τεράστιο ευχαριστώ!
Και όσους στεναχώρησα και με στεναχωρήσαν.... Ντάξ νο πρόμπλεμ ...καλή
καρδία και αγάπη!
