Οι Βρετανοί folk metal ηγέτες της δεκαετίας του '90 στο τελευταίο άλμπουμ τους για εκείνη τη δεκαετία, που πραγματικά είχε πολλά να μας πει και να δώσει. Έχοντας ήδη στραφεί στο folk κομμάτι της μουσικής τους από το 1995, έχουν αποβάλει τα όποια thrash απομεινάρια είχαν στα αρχικά πέντε άλμπουμ τους (σαν επίγονοι των Sabbat, που ήταν), και το γλέντι στο κέλτικο χωριό μέσα στο δάσος καλά κρατεί! Ένας δίσκος που τότε είχε κάνει εντύπωση στον κόσμο και που περιέχει μερικά κομμάτια που πλέον λογίζονται ως κλασικά. Το ομότιτλο Vintage Whine, το Off With Their Heads, το The Silver Cloud's Dark Lining, το A Well Beside the River, το No Strings Attached, το Bury Me, το Cancer of the Heart, το Something to Cling to — σφύζουν από έμπνευση, ειρωνεία, χιούμορ και μας θυμίζουν αυτή την εποχή με νοσταλγία.

The British folk metal pioneers of the 1990s, in their last album of that decade, which truly had a lot to say and offer. Having already shifted towards the folk side of their music since 1995, they shed any remaining thrash elements from their first five albums (being followers of Sabbat, as they were), and the celebration in the Celtic village in the forest continues strong! An album that made an impression at the time and contains some tracks now considered classics.

The title track Vintage Whine, Off With Their Heads, The Silver Cloud's Dark Lining, A Well Beside the River, No Strings Attached, Bury Me, Cancer of the Heart, Something to Cling To — all brim with inspiration, irony, humor, and nostalgically remind us of that era.
