Από την άλλη άκρη της Γης.

Το συγκεκριμένο συγκρότημα ανήκει στην κατηγορία κάτω από το underground. Με έδρα το Σαντιάγκο της Χιλής, οι Iron Spell παίζουν τίμιο, νευρικό, παλιομοδίτικο Heavy και Speed Metal με πολλές επιρροές από όλα τα κλασικά, από Judas Priest μέχρι Stormwitch και από Iron Maiden μέχρι Riot. 

Το συγκεκριμένο άλμπουμ είναι το ντεμπούτο του συγκροτήματος και αποτελείται από έντεκα κομμάτια. Η παραγωγή είναι η δέουσα, καθώς δεν είναι πολύ γυαλιστερή σαν euro power, αλλά ούτε και flat ή χάλια. Ογκώδεις κιθάρες, συμπαγής ρυθμός, διθυραμβικά riffs, πολύ καλή φωνή που θυμίζει Riot εποχής Tony Moore, και που και που βασικά είναι αυτό που χρειάζεται ένας φίλος του κλασικού ήχου. 

Θα έλεγα ότι είναι κοντά στους επίσης ανερχόμενους Riot City στα πιο γρήγορα σημεία και στους Enforcer στα πιο Power κομμάτια. Σε κερδίζουν με τραγούδια όπως τα «Torches in the Woods», «The Night of the Mothman», «The Witch», το ορχηστρικό «Under the Iron Spell», «Stormrider», «Black Candlelight», «We Are Legion», «Moonlight Maniac», «Castle of Punitore». 

Εγκρίνονται και με το παραπάνω!

From the other side of the world.

This band falls into the category just below underground. Based in Santiago, Chile, Iron Spell play honest, energetic, old-school Heavy and Speed Metal with numerous influences from all the classics—from Judas Priest to Stormwitch and from Iron Maiden to Riot. 

This debut album consists of eleven tracks. The production is appropriate—it’s not overly polished like Euro Power, but it’s not flat or terrible either. Heavy guitars, solid rhythms, triumphant riffs, and a very good singer reminiscent of Riot’s Tony Moore era—sometimes exactly what a fan of the classic sound needs. 

I would say they’re close to the rising Riot City in their faster moments and to Enforcer in their more Power metal sections. They win you over with songs like “Torches in the Woods,” “The Night of the Mothman,” “The Witch,” the instrumental “Under the Iron Spell,” “Stormrider,” “Black Candlelight,” “We Are Legion,” “Moonlight Maniac,” and “Castle of Punitore.” 

They’re approved with flying colors!
