Greek melodic death metal band AmongRuins has
released the official music video for their latest single, "Advent of
Chaos." The track serves as the second glimpse into their upcoming
full-length album of the same name, which is scheduled for a global release on
February 20, 2026, through Theogonia Records. Directed by Dimitris
Papadimitroulas, the video features a live performance set against a remote
lakeside landscape, intended to complement the song’s themes of destruction and
inner turmoil.
The forthcoming album was mixed and mastered by Saku Moilanen at Deep Noise Studios in Finland, aiming for a high-intensity sonic profile characteristic of the genre. With this latest release, AmongRuins continues to establish its presence in the European melodic death metal scene, drawing stylistic comparisons to acts such as Insomnium and Dark Tranquillity.
