Italian heavy metal force IMAGO IMPERII are gearing up
for the release of their new album “Century”, arriving February 20th via Metal
Zone Italia. The Bologna-based band also unveiled a visualizer for the track
“Puppet Regime,” offering a first taste of the record’s direction.
“Century” marks the group’s first full-length in over
four years, following A Tale of Darkness and Hope. The new album leans
decisively into old‑school
heavy metal, blending classic riff-driven energy with the band’s signature
historical storytelling. This time, lyricist and vocalist Gwarner shifts focus
toward the 20th century and modern era, giving the record a sharper
contemporary edge.
The album introduces new drummer Matt, whose arrival injects
fresh momentum into the established lineup of Gwarner, Luke Fortini, and Mick.
The artwork, created by Dissonant Ink, accompanies a nine-track lineup
including “Warmonger,” “Operation Valkyrie,” “Fake News,” and the newly
showcased “Puppet Regime.”
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Marco Paradisi at
Boat Studio—with vocals and choirs captured by Marcello Magoni—“Century” will
be available on CD and across major streaming platforms.
