Πολύ μακριά δεν έχουν φτάσει, ή μήπως εγώ το πιστεύω μόνο;

Οι συγκεκριμένοι τύποι, με τον ασπρομάλλη πλέον Chris Boltendahl στην ηγεσία, έχουν πραγματικά ξεπεράσει κάθε προσδοκία απόδοσης. Εδώ τους ακούμε στο 16ο άλμπουμ τους, και είναι δώδεκα χρόνια πριν! Από τότε έχουν κυκλοφορήσει επτά ακόμα δίσκους και συνεχίζουν! Ο Axel Ritt, Jens Becker, Stefan Arnold και H.P. Katzenburg απαρτίζουν την υπόλοιπη σύνθεση σε αυτό το... ναι, σωστά το καταλάβατε, άλλο ένα θεματικό άλμπουμ. Τίποτα διαφορετικό από αυτό που περιμέναμε να ακούσουμε. Κλασικό, τευτονικής χάραξης heavy/power metal, όπως μας έχουν συνηθίσει τόσες δεκαετίες από τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’80. Θεοί, μυθολογικές προσωπικότητες και περιστατικά της ελληνικής μυθολογίας εμπνέουν το συγκρότημα, ένα άτυπο ακόμα ευχαριστώ στη χώρα που τους δέχτηκε σαν δικούς της, τη δική μας, όπου από τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’90 την επισκέπτονται πολύ συχνά! Το "God of Terror", το "Medusa", το "Hell Dog", το "Clash of the Gods", το "Death Angel" και το "Grave Digger", το "Call of the Sirens", οι "Warriors Revenge" και το "Home at Last" είναι μερικά μόνο από τα τραγούδια που περιέχει ο δίσκος. Σταθερή πορεία για πολλά, πολλά χρόνια. Ίσως έτσι θέλουμε εμείς που ακούμε, λογικά το ίδιο θα θέλει και το σχήμα, οπότε όσοι πιστοί, προσέλθετε.

They haven't come very far, or is it just me who believes that?

These particular guys, now led by the gray-haired Chris Boltendahl, have truly exceeded all expectations. Here we hear them on their 16th album, and it’s twelve years old! Since then, they’ve released seven more albums and keep going!

Axel Ritt, Jens Becker, Stefan Arnold, and H.P. Katzenburg make up the rest of the lineup in this… yes, you guessed it, another thematic album. Nothing different from what we expected to hear. Classic, German-style heavy/power metal, as they’ve been known for over decades since the mid-’80s.

Gods, mythological figures, and episodes from Greek mythology inspire the band—an unofficial thank you to the country that accepted them as its own, ours, where they have been frequently visiting since the mid-’90s!

Tracks like “God of Terror,” “Medusa,” “Hell Dog,” “Clash of the Gods,” “Death Angel,” “Grave Digger,” “Call of the Sirens,” “Warrior’s Revenge,” and “Home at Last” are just some of the songs on the album.

A steady path for many, many years. Maybe that’s how we want it as listeners, and probably the band feels the same. So, if you’re a true fan, come on in.
