Athens-based Neo Glam Cyber Rock band Senses have
released the official music video for their track “Love Is a Lie”, now
available through the band’s official YouTube/VEVO channel.
Taken from their debut album Out of Line, “Love Is a
Lie” combines hard rock and glam metal elements with an unmistakable ’80s
influence and contemporary production. The song explores the emotional
disillusionment that follows when a relationship is revealed to be based on an
illusion, focusing on the conflict between leaving the past behind and trying
to escape its consequences.
The accompanying video is built around live
performance footage, featuring concert-style lighting, neon elements, smoke and
sparks, alongside black-and-white backstage scenes. The visual approach
emphasizes both the band's stage presence and the darker, cinematic aspects of
their musical identity.
Senses describe their style as Neo Glam Cyber Rock,
combining elements of ’80s glam metal and AOR with a more contemporary and
futuristic aesthetic. With “Love Is a Lie,” the band further develops the
musical and visual direction established with Out of Line.
