Swedish melodic death/black metal project Anthyr has
released its debut album, Tidens Famn. The album was recorded, mixed, and
mastered by Markus Kristiansen Seterlund at Nordblod Studios.
Operating as a solo project, Anthyr combines
atmospheric black metal and melodic death metal, emphasizing striking melodies,
immersive soundscapes, and narrative-driven compositions. Drawing inspiration
from Scandinavia’s pre-Christian heritage, ancient Norse mythology, and
northern spiritual traditions, Tidens Famn explores themes of ancestral forces,
forgotten lore, aggression, and introspective darkness.
