German atmospheric black metal and shoegaze project
Sternweh have released a new lyric video for “Sterngeborgen,” a track from
their debut album Sehnflucht.
The recording was produced entirely in the band’s home
studio, with Christian Witt handling the recording, mixing and mastering.
Formed in Germany in 2025, Sternweh is the independent project of
multi-instrumentalist and horror/fantasy author Christian Witt, with occasional
vocal contributions from his wife, Yvonne.
The project explores themes of cosmic longing,
escapism and emotional isolation, combining dense guitar-driven passages and
harsh vocals with fragile acoustic sections and clean singing.
