Αχ... τί άλμπουμ, αυτό το τρίτο των Αμερικανών thrashers! Κατευθείαν στο θέμα με το δεύτερο κομμάτι, το θρυλικό, και σαν βίντεο κλιπ το “Critical Mass”, ξέρεις τι θα βρεις εδώ. Παλιομοδίτικο, thrash metal αμερικανικής τεχνοτροπίας, με λίγο "γρατζουνιστή" παραγωγή και αρκετά punky προσέγγιση σε κάποια μέρη, αλλά απολύτως ικανοποιητικό μουσικό αποτέλεσμα. Κοινωνική κριτική, οικολογική ανησυχία και επίμονη προειδοποίηση για την κόλαση που θα κρύβει το κοντινό μέλλον, όλα δοσμένα με πολύ έντονο ρυθμικό τομέα, αφού μπάσο και τύμπανα είναι το σημείο που τους χαρακτηρίζει, με ρυθμική κιθάρα και lead να χορεύουν εναλλάξ γύρω τους. 

Η συνέχεια, με ενδεικτικά σημεία τα “Inherited Hell”, “Surgery”, “Emergency”, “When Freedom Dies”, “Search and Seizure”, “Torture Tactics”, “Trail of Tears”, έχει αυτή την "πάρτα μέσα τα μούτρα" αισθητική που τους διέκρινε πάντα.

Ah... what an album, this third one from the American thrashers! Straight to the point with the second track, the legendary one, and like a music video for “Critical Mass,” you know what to expect here. Old-school, American-style thrash metal, with a slightly "scratchy" production and a quite punky approach in some parts, but absolutely satisfying musically. Social critique, ecological concerns, and a persistent warning about the hell that the near future may hold—all delivered with a very intense rhythmic section, since bass and drums are their defining elements, with rhythm guitar and lead trading places around them.

The follow-up, featuring tracks like “Inherited Hell,” “Surgery,” “Emergency,” “When Freedom Dies,” “Search and Seizure,” “Torture Tactics,” “Trail of Tears,” carries that “punch in the face” aesthetic that has always set them apart.
