REVIEW: DISHARMONY – Shades of Insanity

DISHARMONY – Shades of Insanity

Independent

Greek band Disharmony has been an active presence in the underground metal scene since 1996, demonstrating consistent growth in musicianship and technical skill over the years.

"Shades of Insanity" is their full-length album, released independently. The primary purpose of this release was to showcase the band’s current musical direction and to attract the interest of potential record labels. Notably, the production quality is highly professional, comparable to releases from countries with more established reputations in metal production.

Musically, Disharmony maintains their signature blend of power and doom metal elements, while incorporating a more modern approach on this album. Fans of bands such as Nevermore and My Dying Bride (musically, not vocally) may find this work particularly engaging.

Although personal genre preferences vary, it is clear that Disharmony has delivered a well-crafted album that deserves recognition within the metal community. Overall, "Shades of Insanity" reflects notable progress in the Greek metal scene and underscores the band’s dedication to their craft.
