Είναι το τρίτο άλμπουμ των Γερμανών Heavy Metal δεινοσαύρων που αγαπούμε. Είναι το πρώτο ας πούμε κανονικό, άλμπουμ τους και έχει μέσα ύμνους της εκολαπτομενης ακόμη τότε metal μουσικής σαν τα Midnight Highway, Starlight, Breaker, Run If You Can, Down And Out, Son Of A Bitch και πάει λέγοντας. Μέχρι εδώ ο Udo είχε μακριά ξανθά μαλλιά, απ' αυτό και μετά κουρεύεται σαν νεοσύλλεκτος και αλλάζει τα μαύρα δερμάτινα μπουφάν με στρατιωτικές παραλλαγές κι αρβύλες. Οι Accept απογειώνονται για την αναγνώριση που δικαιούνται και τελικά τη βρήκαν.

Το πέμπτο τους άλμπουμ, το πρώτο με...πιάνο όχι μόνο στο εξώφυλλο -καρφωμένο από την λευκή κιθάρα του Criss Oliva-.

Ίσως το σημείο οριμανσης της καριέρας των τεσσάρων (πέντε σε αυτό το άλμπουμ μιας κι ο Christopher Caffery ντεμπουταρει στη δεύτερη κιθάρα μαζί με τον Criss Oliva) παιδιών από τη Φλώριδα. Έχοντας μετακομισει βόρεια στη Νέα Υόρκη, μόνιμα από την εποχή του προηγούμενου ανδραγαθήματος που ακούει στο όνομα Hall Of The Mountain King (1987) κι έχοντας διαβεί τον Ρουβίκωνα οριστικά μετα το εμπορικό καζο του Fight For The Rock (1986), ΕΔΩ, πλέον η μπάντα πατατει γερά στο μέλλον. Βέβαια επί του δίσκου, τί να λέμε; Το πιάνο που υπάρχει στο ομονυμο έπος τραγούδι, δίνει άλλη χροιά στον ήχο τους. Τα She's In Love και Hounds "σπινταρουν" στον παλιό ήχο τους, το σχεδόν επικό power metal The Unholy δεν κρύβει τις επιρροές τους από AC/DC καθώς φέρει αυτούσιο το ρυθμικό riff του Let There Be Rock των Αυστραλών αλλά και το When The Crouds Are Gone απλά είναι ανεπανάληπτο.

NECROTIZED released debut album

 

Irish Death Metal band NECROTIZED released their debut album «Eternal Perversion». The release was recorded by Shane Corcoran in his home studio and mixed/mastered by Domo Dixon of Gama Bomb. The artwork by Paul Mc Carroll.

NECROTIZED was formed in 2015 at Kilkenny, Ireland as a two piece band. The band released the single 'Bloated Bag Of Entrails' the same year. Not long after this the members went their separate ways leaving Shane "Red" Corcoran (Guitar/Vocals) as the only member of the band. NECROTIZED is heavily influenced by old school bands such as Carcass, Desecration, Exhumed etc while also keeping the band's sound quite modern.

With their 2 previous albums SCARLET ANGER earned lots of respect and appreciation.

Recently the line-faithful bunch around singer Joe Block has finished the third album "Martyr".

It will be released in 2023. In advance there is from the guys full one on the cap once more with the new, 2nd single and the video "Hunger"!

The band says about "Hunger":

"The song title refers to the central theme of the song, which is the insatiable greed and inner hunger that drives us. The term 'Hunger' symbolizes the intense longing and desire for more, whether it be material or immaterial."

PHOEBUS THE KNIGHT about "The Black Dungeon":

 

"In this song, the knights of Heliopolis take Tiffauges, the castle of Gilles de Rais, by storm to try to stop his evil deeds. They face a horde of demons and warlocks and they fight with all they have for their values and for justice.

The song in itself is designed to be catchy and presents a modern Symphonic Metal aspect with a less neoclassical side. However, orchestrations are on the front line with beautiful melodic lines, key changes to enhance the epic mood and killer guitar solo !

The band chose this song as single for the EP as it presents a lot of what PHOEBUS THE KNIGHT can be."

Best way to describe this release is that it's HEAVY and BRUTAL death metal.  The first hearing this album and I was impressed.  However, I wasn't immediately on the assumption that this deserved an "A-" rating.  But upon repeated listens to, the more I thought higher and higher of.  These guys aren't entirely new to the scene, they have some full length LP's.  Based in Texas and on Hell's Headbangers Records they've really stepped up a performance.  The guitars and vocals seemed to grow on me.  They just downright heavy.  It's kind of like Shed The Skin's latest 'Thaumogensis' which is another band on Hell's Headbangers.  That label attracts some brutal stuff, but good!

MYSTIC PROPHECY, Regressus (2003)

Με τον φίλο Σαλονικιό Gus G.(πριν Dream Evil, Firewind παράλληλα και μελλοντικά Ozzy Osbourne) μάστορα της ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας στη σύνθεση τους τότε και τον Ελληνοαμερικανό R.D. Liapakis (Steel Prophet) στα φωνητικά, το classic power metal που παίζουν είναι εγγύηση! Calling From Hell, Eternal Flame, Lord Of Pain, In Your Sins, Night of the Storm, Lost In  Time, When Demons Return , Mystic Prophecy και οι bonus διασκευές στα Fighting the World (Manowar) και Sanctuary (Iron Maiden) δίνουν πολύ πόνο!
