Δεν είναι τυχαίο ότι 2 από τις πιο αγαπημένες μου συνθέσεις που ακούω συχνά πυκνά τελευταία προέρχονται από Ελληνικά συγκροτήματα. Και για να μην σας αφήσω με την απορία θα σας πω ότι πρόκειται για το τραγούδι «God of Fire» των STEEL ARCTUS και το τραγούδι «Βακχεία Rapture» των AHERUSIA. Δυο συγκροτήματα που κινούνται σε διαφορετικά metal υποείδη κι όμως είναι εξίσου ενδιαφέροντα και ποιοτικά. Με απλά λόγια πρέπει να είσαι προκατειλημμένος/η για να μην αναγνωρίσεις ότι η Ελληνική σκηνή διαθέτει ποιότητα κι έχει κάνει τεράστια βήματα προόδου.

TORN FROM THE WOMB released new album

 

Polish Technical/Brutal Death Metal band TORN FROM THE WOMB released their new album «Purgal Abnomitary» with the label "Narcoleptica Productions". The release was recorded at "Vomit Abomination Studios'', and mixed/mastered by Konrad Dera.

TORN FROM THE WOMB was formed in 2014 at Poznań, Poland as a one-man band by Konrad Dera who wanted to create a solo project where he can play simple slam riffs and guttural vocals, to blasting, technical gore-fest in vein of bands like Carcass, Aborted and Cryptopsy.

OKL'S FRUITLOOPS released new single

 

Slovenian Melodic Death Metal band OKL'S FRUITLOOPS released their new single «Icons of Insanity». The single was recorded in early 2022 at the "Underground Recording Studio" in Šentjernej, Slovenia, where it was also mixed and mastered.

Πέρασε κάτι παραπάνω από ένας μήνας αποχής για μένα από τις παρουσιάσεις κυκλοφοριών. Μια ενασχόληση που πάντα με βοηθούσε να καλύψω δημιουργικά τον όποιο ελεύθερο χρόνο μου κι ας γκρίνιαζα καμιά φορά. Μερικές φορές μάλιστα ξέκλεβα κι από τον χρόνο που δεν είχα προς ελεύθερη διάθεση. Κι όλο αυτό γιατί πραγματικά αγαπάω την heavy metal μουσική. Έλα, όμως, που η ζωή συνεχώς είναι σε κίνηση, ακόμη κι όταν δεν το καταλαβαίνουμε ή μας φαίνεται στάσιμη, και μας φέρνει σε καταστάσεις που σε αποσυντονίζουν από την καθημερινότητά σου. Σοβαροί προσωπικοί λόγοι, λοιπόν, με άφησαν για ένα σεβαστό χρονικό διάστημα εκτός της ενασχόλησής μου με την παρουσίαση νέων κυκλοφοριών. Παρόλα αυτά το διάστημα αυτό θεωρώ μου έδωσε και το χρόνο να φορτίσω τις μπαταρίες μου ξανά και να συνεχίσω  μέσω των κειμένων μου να μοιράζομαι την άποψή μου για κυκλοφορίες που άκουσα πρόσφατα.

OFFERBARN released debut EP

 

Danish Black Metal band OFFERBARN released their debut EP self titled EP. The release was recorded, mixed and mastered by Kristan Edelbo at his home studio.

OFFERBARN was formed in 2015 at Copenhagen, Denmark by Kristan Edelbo (Guitars/Vocals) who is also the bassist and singer in the Sludge/Stoner Punk band "Lophius". The first written track for the project Helvedet Venter (”Hell awaits”), was made way back in 2015, while the project itself and the rest of the debut self-titled EP was written in the fall of 2021. Central to Kristian for the project, is to carve out a space for explicitly anti fascist and queer Black Metal in the Danish Metal scene, a scene which like all other Black Metal scenes has an, at best, ambigous relationship to NSBM like Burzum and other modern nazi bands. This needs to change, and we need to take the genre by force from those who would use it to beat minorities into submission.

FIRE AND GATE released new album

 

Russian Instrumental Metal band FIRE AND GATE released their new album «Edda: Silent Collection of Myths». The release was recorded, mixed and mastered by Petr Baldin at his home studio. The new album consists of 9 tracks dedicated to Norse mythology.

FIRE AND GATE was formed in 2020 by Vasily Kornishev and Petr Baldin. In 2021 the band released their debut album "Ladder", but after the release Vasily decided to leave the band, making Petr the only member of the band, and changing the band format to "one man project".
