HATEFLAMES is a five piece very talented newcomer
power heavy metal band from Athens Greece. “Tomorrow Erased" is their
debut CD album and contains 8 traditional power heavy metal anthems with
impressive crystal clear production and amazing artwork.
The band is very young but on the other hand it is
very hard working and this shows through the songwriting section, great double
guitar work, very good rhythm section and nice vocals.
The band follows an exceptional choice close to the American
power metal sound (JACOBS DREAM, SAVATAGE, LIEGE LORD, HELSTAR, GRIMSON GLORY, KAMELOT)
with a flavor of European style vocals like (IRON MAIDEN, ARTCH, ICED EARTH, STORMWITCH,
STORMGOAT, FIREWIND, CONCEPTION) all that mixed with nice groovy and strong
beats and a great sound production produced, recorded and mixed at CFN
Recordings Studio by Dion Christodoulatos of SORROWFUL ANGELS.
On the top of that there is a great artwork designed
by Remedy Art Design (EVERGREY, MORBID ANGEL). In general I was very excited with
this disc. Young people with a lot of positive energy, a minimum budget and a
nice outcome!!!
