Το πνευματικό παιδί του μπασίστα Leif Edling, με μητέρα τους Pentagram και τους Black Sabbath.

Οι Σουηδοί συνεχιστές του Doom Metal στο θρυλικό ντεμπούτο τους. Μια ιδιάζουσα κυκλοφορία αφού το βασικό δημιουργικό τρίο ήταν ο Leif σε μπάσο και στίχους & σύνθεση, ο Mats Björkman σε κιθάρα κι ο Matz Ekström στα κρουστά. Ο τραγουδιστής τους τότε (και υπενθυμίζεται ότι από το 2018 είναι και πάλι μαζί τους) Johan Längqvist ήταν.... ειδική συμμετοχή! Όλοι βέβαια αγαπάμε και τον διάδοχο του τον τεράστιο από κάθε άποψη Messiah Marcolin, αλλά αυτός θα "κριθεί" από το δεύτερο άλμπουμ το εκπληκτικό Nightfall. Εδώ η ατμόσφαιρα είναι βαριά, αποπνικτική και πένθιμη πέρα των συνηθισμένων. Και πως να μην είναι με τα Solitude, Demon's Gate, Crystal Ball, Black Stone Weilder, Under The Oak και το A Sorcerer"s Pledge και όπως είδαμε αυτά είναι όλα τα κομμάτια του άλμπουμ (εννοείται ότι η επανέκδοση σε διπλό CD είναι υπέρ του δεόντως χορταστική).

DARK OCEAN CIRCLE released new single

 

Swedish Stoner Metal band DARK OCEAN CIRCLE released their new single «Forever and a Million» from the band's upcoming new self titled album that will be released on 28 April at Ozium Records. The release was recorded, mixed and mastered at "Studio Humbucker" in Stockholm.

DARK OCEAN CIRCLE was formed in 2020 as a four-piece band in Stockholm, Sweden by Johan Bergsman (Vocals), Tobbe Park (Guitars), Janne Bohman (Bass) and Lionel Cayla (Drums).

The band says about "Wolf Among The Sheep": "The style of the song is a deliberately idiosyncratic mix of Thrash and Melodic Death Metal. The lyrics of the song are about how we have to defend ourselves against those people who we once let into our lives because they pretended to be our friends. People we actually wanted to help - but instead of being grateful, they unfortunately took advantage of our kindness and even tried to destroy us. The main roles in the video are played by the members of the airsoft team 'Brothers In Arms' and Maria Georgieva, who is already known from our previous video for the song 'Madness'."

James McIlroy (ex-Cradle Of Filth) joins Belgian death metal outfit Mordkaul

 

Belgian melodic death metal collective MORDKAUL just announced that James McIlroy has joined the band replacing Vincent Noben on guitar. James is best known for his time in Cradle Of Filth.

James first played on the Nymphetamine album and toured extensively for the Damnation and a Day and Nymphetamine albums, as well as appearances at the 2003 Ozzfest and Viva La Bam (2005) before leaving to pursue academia and work on other projects. In 2009, he returned for the second leg of Cradle of Filth's European Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder Tour as well as the album Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa.

Next to Mordkaul, James is currently also working on music for his new band Summon The Wolves.

Oι SONIC ADDICTIVE είναι ένα υβριδικό κινηματογραφικό ροκ/μέταλ συγκρότημα. Δημιουργήθηκε το 2020, και το συγκρότημα εργάζεται για το πρώτο του άλμπουμ με πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις. Μέσα από έναν φουτουριστικό ρετρό χάρτη, οι Sonic Addictive ταξιδεύουν από σύμπαν σε σύμπαν και αλλάζουν τα μουσικά και οπτικά τους στυλ με κάθε EP.

SEBIA – New Official Lyric Video "Ship Lost Through The Mist”

 

Sebia is a five-member Hard Rock / Metal band from Athens Greece founded on April 2020 influenced by a variety of genres such us hard rock, heavy metal, progressive rock and others.

The band's name is inspired from a fictional character, Sebia, whose story unfolds through some of the songs of the album. Specifically, Sebia is a female humanoid being, that lived in a fantasy world called Aen. In Aen, creatures like her were considered witches, we’re not accepted by human society and were hunted for that reason. The story refers to the love affair between her and a human witch hunter, named Gabriel Barkley also of their descendant.

The band combines vintage metal with a modern sound, fusing hard rock and progressive elements, enriched with melodic vocal lines and riffs. Some of the band's references: Metallica, Dream Theater, Nevermore, Kansas, Iron Maiden, System of a down.

With several live shows under their belt, Sebia are working on their Debut album which will released in 2023.

Not long ago, they shared one of the 8 tracks from their first record, with title "Ship Lost Through The Mist". A musical combination of melody and heaviness, fantasy and reality, as the song creates images that take place in a world different from ours. The ship in question, travels across an unknown ocean, left to its fate perhaps for centuries, to find a shore. The lyrics interpret the utopian mood of the human way of thinking that is opposed to realism.

The track has been released in the form of a lyric video on the wonderful artwork illustration of their record by Yiannis Nakos aka Remedy Art Design in collaboration with Kaimakamis in the video montage.

ARKHAM WITCH "Beer and Bullet Belts" compilation.

 

After the release of the 4th full-length of the UK's metal brigands ARKHAM WITCH last September, Metal on Metal Records is releasing a compilation album of this band, "Beer and Bullet Belts" on April 20th. The label commented: "The band has tons of killer songs that haven't been properly released, including last year's "Give Me Death by Heavy Metal!" EP, to which we added other two new studio-recorded songs as well as a bunch of cool demo and rehearsal recordings, most of them previously unreleased.
