BLOODSHED
WALHALLA – The Battle Will Never End

Our friend Takis has recently introduced you to the
epic sound of BATHORY through his insightful articles, graciously published in
Behind The Veil Webzine. Today, we delve into a band deeply influenced by
BATHORY's epic era. Many of you are likely familiar with CROM in this style,
and the more discerning among you might know Italy's GJALLARHORN, comprising members
of DOOMSWORSD. Additionally, we should mention BLOODSHED WALHALLA, another
Italian band in this vein.
BLOODSHED WALHALLA's 2012 album, "The Battle Will
Never End," exemplifies the adage "Imitation is the sincerest form of
flattery." With unwavering sincerity, they crafted seven tracks as a
tribute to BATHORY's epic phase, and they execute this homage remarkably well.
Their genuine admiration for BATHORY shines through,
infusing their compositions with a personal touch. This passion, combined with
their inspiration and enthusiasm, culminates in a noteworthy release that any
fan of epic metal should experience.
One distinguishing factor of BLOODSHED WALHALLA,
compared to BATHORY and other similar bands like CROM and GJALLARHORN, is their
incorporation of a power metal flair in their compositions.
