Με τεράστια διαφορά από τα προηγούμενα δύο άλμπουμ, το τρίτο αυτό CD του σχήματος των Hansi Kürsch και Jon Schaffer ήρθε χωρίς να έχει τίποτα να αποδείξει ή να αντιμετωπίσει ανταγωνισμό. Όπως και στο προηγούμενο άλμπουμ, το πολύ καλό «Touched by the Crimson King», θα βρούμε το ίδιο μελαγχολικό και σκοτεινό Heavy Metal, στο οποίο ξεχειλίζει η μελωδία — φυσικά, μια μίξη από Blind Guardian και Iced Earth, όπως είναι φυσικό. Έντεκα κομμάτια, με τα «Diabolic», «Invincible», «Wolves in Winter», «Final Warning», «Timeless Spirit», «Dark Side of Her Majesty», «Midas Disease», «Universal Truth» και το δεκάλεπτο έπος «Children of Cain», κυριαρχούν σε έναν δίσκο που, ειλικρινά, αξίζει από τη μία πλευρά, αλλά δεν θα προσφέρει κάτι επιπλέον ή διαφορετικό στον ακροατή σε σύγκριση με τα κυρίως σχήματα των δύο συντελεστών από την άλλη.

With a significant leap forward from their previous two albums, this third CD by the band formed by Hansi Kürsch and Jon Schaffer arrived without anything to prove or face competition. Just like the previous album, the excellent “Touched by the Crimson King”, you'll find the same melancholic and dark heavy metal, overflowing with melody — naturally a blend of Blind Guardian and Iced Earth sounds, as expected. Eleven tracks, including “Diabolic”, “Invincible”, “Wolves in Winter”, “Final Warning”, “Timeless Spirit”, “Dark Side of Her Majesty”, “Midas Disease”, “Universal Truth”, and the ten-minute epic “Children of Cain”, dominate on a record that, honestly, is worth listening to on one hand, but on the other, doesn't offer anything extra or different to the listener compared to the main bands of the two creators.
