Venturing yet another step closer to musical
perfection, this album marks the second full-length opus from the formidable
quartet hailing from California. While it may not frequent the rotation on my
stereo as a CD, in its vinyl incarnation, it had become a sonic landscape I
fervently traversed. Surpassing the milestones set by 'Show No Mercy' and
paving the way for the monumental 'Reign In Blood,' this album stands as a
testament to classic Slayer brilliance.
Within the visceral soundscape of this masterpiece,
Slayer unleashes a torrent of classics such as 'Hell Awaits,' 'At Dawn They
Sleep,' 'Kill Again,' 'Necrophiliac,' and 'Praise of Death.' Each track is a
