την αίγλη των προηγούμενων, προσπαθούν αλλά...
Η
αρχή της βραχύβιας δεύτερης περιόδου τους, όπως είχα ξανά γράψει, ο τέταρτος full length δίσκος των Europower metal
πρωτοπόρων, δεν τραβάει. Εντάξει το Chameleon που ήρθε μετά τους
αποτελείωσε, βασικά τον τραγουδιστή τους Michael Kiske αποτελείωσε, αλλά ήταν τέλος εποχής,
της δικής του!.. Η απουσία του Kai
Hansen
γίνεται αντιληπτή όχι κιθαριστικά τόσο πολύ όσο συνθετικά. Ο Roland Grapow ήταν άξιος αντικαταστάτης. Έδωσε και το
The Chance, περιέργως το πιο Helloween κομμάτι του cd.... Αξίζουν και τα Mankind, Someone's Crying, Kids Of The
Century.

Striving forward sans the brilliance of their past,
they push onward, yet...
Embarking on the genesis of their ephemeral second
chapter, as previously highlighted, the fourth full-length album by the
pioneers of Europower metal doesn't quite hit the mark. Granted, the aftermath
of Chameleon, which followed, left them in disarray, especially their vocalist
Michael Kiske; however, it symbolized the end of an era, his era! The void left
by Kai Hansen is evident, not only in guitar prowess but notably in
compositional richness. Roland Grapow, a commendable replacement, even
delivered The Chance, oddly the most evocative of classic Helloween on the
CD... Other standout tracks include Mankind, Someone's Crying, and Kids Of The
Century.
