METHEDRAS stands tall among Italy's top metal bands, a
relentless force in thrash-death metal. With a history spanning demos, six
albums, and countless global tours (including support for icons like Slayer and
Anthrax), they maintain a fierce energy.
Formed in 1996 near Milan, the band's evolution
settled into a distinctive style—a blend of Bay Area thrash and Scandinavian
death metal, modernized with synths for a melodic rock touch.
Despite past collaborations with labels like
Punishment 18, Pavement Entertainment, and Massacre Records, Methedras chose to
self-release their latest album, "Human Deception," in June 2023.
Recorded at Sweden's Studio Fredman under the guidance of Fredrik Nordström,
the album features the single "Psychotic."
