SARMAT release “RS-28” in CD format

 

SARMAT, the death/black metal band from Poland, presents the lyric video to the title track from the debut full length album called “RS-28”. The album has been self-released by the band in CD format. It contains eight compositions lasting more than 33 minutes. The band’s name is taken from The Weapon of the Ultimate Destruction – the Russian super-heavy intercontinental ballistic missile RS-28 SARMAT (known also as SATAN 2). The released lyric video shows us exactly what we have to do with. The CDs are available on the band’s Bandcamp profile and by distributors such as Selfmadegod Records and Szataniec.pl (both from Poland).

Ο Καναδάς είναι μια χώρα που εκτιμώ για την heavy metal σκηνή. Τα πιο γνωστά ονόματα της χώρας αυτής μπορεί να είναι οι ANNIHILATOR και οι ANVIL, αλλά αν μπείτε στον κόπο να ασχοληθείτε με την εν λόγο σκηνή είμαι σίγουρος ότι θα ανακαλύψετε πολλά «άγνωστα» διαμαντάκια που μπορούν να ικανοποιήσουν κάθε είδος γούστου. Αφού δεν μου κόπηκε το ρεπό (όχι αυτό του Χατζηδάκη, το κανονικό) είπα και γω να δώσω λίγο χρώμα στη μέρα μου, επενδυμένο με το post rock/metal των Psychonaut. Η μπάντα προερχόμενη από το Mechelen του Βελγίου, έχοντας αρχικώς κάνει   «κακή παρέα» με τους Amenra, έβαλαν στο μίξερ μπάντες, όπως Tool, Mastodon, Russian Circles, Monkey3 & Sleeping Karma ενώ στα φωνητικά, σε ορισμένα κομμάτια, νομίζεις ότι ακούς τον Duplatier των θεών Gojira! Για να προλάβω τους κακόπιστους, το μείγμα που έφτιαξαν, σε καμία περίπτωση δεν είναι clopy paste των παραπάνω, αντιθέτως έφτιαξαν ένα έργο μοναδικό, που θέλουμε να καμαρώνουμε και στο μέλλον…

CYAN INSANE released new EP

 

Danish Melodic Death/Thrash Metal band CYAN INSANE released their new EP «Stab Your Demon». The new release was recorded, mixed and mastered in "Aintfarm Studios" by Tue Madsen (Baby Metal, Messugah, Heaven Shall Burn, etc).

CYAN INSANE was formed in 2017 by drummer Patrick Bøgebjerg, guitarist Niclas Lilieqvist and vocalist/guitarist Dimi Shining ( ex Mushroom Cloud , 6 Degrees). The band wrote new material and went to the studio to record their first EP "Out of my way" which was released in January 2019.

This album is quite diverse, though it seems to be all over the place with different tempos.  The recording quality was good, just the songs don't really lead to anywhere.  A lot of lead guitar work and likable vocals, just the guitars could've been a little better (to me).  I just felt that the changes really make the album off-kilter.  It was brutal as hell and a long album, but I'm sure they've come out with better music in the past then leaving the scene after this one was released.  Definitely an original release, just should've done better.  When I say "better", I mean more consistent in the songwriting capabilities.

SUSURRO released new single

 

German Death/Thrash Metal band Susurro released their new single «Burning in Flame» from the band upcoming debut album "Eratic" that will be released in mid-July. The new single was recorded in "AKS Studios", and mixed/mastered by Andy Lux.

SUSURRO was formed in 2019 at Allmersbach, Germany by Jack Skaner (vocals/guitar). Soon after Mr. Six-Ell (bass) and Winzent Walace (guitars/keyboard) joined the band and the lineup was completed. The band released their first 2 singles "No Way Out" and "Ghost Rider" in 2019, the single "Hateful" in 2020 and the single "Leopard Does`t Change It`s Spots" in 2021.

Σήμερα θα παρουσιάσω την κυκλοφορία ενός συγκροτήματος από την πόλη που μένω, την Θεσσαλονίκη. Έχω την αίσθηση ότι η πόλη μου είναι ίσως πιο γνωστή για την ακραία σκηνή της ή τουλάχιστον έδειχνε εδώ και κάποια χρόνια ότι είναι πιο παραγωγική σε αυτό το στυλ ήχου. Βέβαια, δεν πρέπει να ξεχνάμε ότι από τη Θεσσαλονίκη έχουν προέλθει και σπουδαία συγκροτήματα του κλασσικού metal ήχου όπως οι SARISSA και οι VAVEL. Βεβαίως έχουμε κι άλλους αξιολογότατους μουσικούς και μπάντες όπως Gus G, CRYSTAL TERAS, EMERALD SUN κ.λπ. Σε αυτή, λοιπόν, την μεγάλη ομάδα του εκ Θεσσαλονίκης προερχόμενου heavy/power metal ήχου έρχονται να προστεθούν και οι GRAYWITCH με το ντεμπούτο τους που φέρει τον τίτλο «Rise Of The Witch».
