POST LUCTUM released new single

 

American Death/Doom Metal band POST LUCTUM released their new single «Our Monuments» from the band's upcoming new EP "Acceptance" that will be released in August. The single was recorded in "Clawmaster Studios" and mixed/mastered by Daniel Weldon.

POST LUCTUM was formed in early 2019 at California, Maryland as a one-man project by Ian Goetchius who wanted to create a band with a combination of moody melodies and dark atmosphere, with lyrical themes and topics ranging from isolation and depression, to the paranormal and afterlife. In 2019 the band released their debut EP "After Mourning" which gained positive reviews.

Οι XENOS από την Ιταλία είναι ένα συγκρότημα που δημιούργησε ο Ignazio Nicastro που γνωρίσαμε για πρώτη φορά μέσω του συγκροτήματος EVERSIN. Και στους EVERSIN ο Ignazio κινούνταν στα μονοπάτια του thrash metal ήχου, αλλά εκεί το εμπλούτιζε με πολλά στοιχεία κι από άλλα μουσικά είδη και θα έλεγα ότι έχουν μια πιο progressive metal νοοτροπία σαν συγκρότημα. Αντίθετα με τους XENOS ο εν λόγω μουσικής δημιουργεί έναν πιο άμεσο thrash metal ήχο.

DERADE released new single

 

English Baroque Metal band DERADE released their new single «Take Your Soul». The single was remotely recorded at Guy Radford and Richard Lee homes in Cambridgeshire and South West London. It was mixed by Guy Radford and mastered at "Parlour Studios" by Neil Haynes.

DERADE was formed in 2017 at Huntingdon, England by Guy Radford (guitar) and Mark Radford (guitar). Later Richard Lee (vocals) joined the band and the lineup was completed.

This is what I remember about Sodom way back in the early days when 'Agent Orange' was released...they were on top of their game.  Seems like on this one their energy and riffs are back on top of DOMINATION.  Totally kick ass and unrelenting.  I don't know why any scores on here are negative about this one because the whole way through is KING.  I think that Frank's leads could've been better like the old days, but the rhythms were more than adequate.  The music is definitely intricate.  These guys are veterans and still putting out high-quality thrash metal.  I don't regret buying a physical copy of this LP.

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι έχουμε συνδυάσει το «βλάσφημο», το «αντιχριστιανικό» και γενικά όποιο στοιχείο αντίκειται στην οργανωμένη θρησκεία με τον ακραίο χώρο της metal μουσικής. Βεβαίως, ότι μεγάλη μερίδα συγκροτημάτων με τέτοια θεματολογία βρίσκεται στο ως άνω είδος δεν αποκλείει άλλους μουσικούς πιο μελωδικών ειδών να είναι το ίδιο αιρετικοί. Μην ξεχνάμε ότι ένα από τα πιο «σατανικά» τραγούδια είναι το «Hotel California» των EAGLES. Όταν αντιλαμβάνεσαι την θεματολογία του σε πιάνει μια ανατριχίλα φαντάζομαι.

Τον Ben Sollberger τον γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τη πρόσφατη και πολύ καλή δουλειά των DISTANT PAST. Επίσης, οι πιο ψαγμένοι, ίσως γνωρίζουν ότι είναι κιθαρίστας και σε ένα άλλο heavy metal συγκρότημα, τους AGE OF DISCLOSURE με το οποίο είχε κυκλοφορήσει το 2015 τον δίσκο με τίτλο «To the Universe».

DUNERIDER released debut album

 

French Doom/Sludge Metal band DUNERIDER released their debut album «Ruins». The release was recorded at "DuneStudio Paris" and fully self-produced.

DUNERIDER was formed in 2020 as a one-man band by its only member Fred Dupré, multi-instrumentalist. The band's sound is very heavy, overloaded with fuzz, chaotic and apocalyptic lyrics, all drowned in a dusty and arid atmosphere.
