They've got some pretty good riffs here, though I like 'Hordes of Zombies' more.  This is still a good release!  I've enjoyed the whole of it. The death metal/grindcore mix. The music has some catchy songs. The guitars are brutal but catchy.  I enjoyed this whole release. It's too bad Jesse isn't around anymore (RIP 2006), they would've probably sounded even better. 'World Downfall' was a monument in the death/grind beginnings.Their last album featured a female guitar player who smoked. This time around a little different lineup but still right on target. The songs are brutal and the vocals (no more Oscar) are right alongside the music. This release clocks in at around 43 minutes.

I'm not much with the lyrical concepts but the songwriting (guitar, bass and drums) are magnificent. They keep up the pace the whole way through.  No surprise with Pete behind the set he's trained in this!

I like how Lee smokes on here. Not many lead guitar parts just tremolo picking galore on the rhythm bits. These songs just hit home with me. The vocals sound like traditional death metal voice as it should sound. There are no let up really with the speed. Takes an awful lot of stamina to keep at this pace that they have. It's too bad the band is "On Hold" right now because they've put together some great albums in their career in the music industry.  I'll still remain a fan for always. They've put together some really intriguing guitar parts and the drums are solid. I'm all for this one, though I've given it a "B" rating because the riffs could've been a bit better.

Production quality was top notch all the music was audible. The songs I mean all of them were catchy. They've shown the metal community that death/grind is still alive!  And no one can kill the genre(s). I'm all for getting this one on CD which I did.

Some songs that I want to refer you to are "Conflict and Despair", "The Downtrodden", and "Sharp Knives." I like this whole album, but those are some highlights and a little bit better compositions with an added kick to them.  Enjoy!
