is a 4 member punk and roll outfit from Finland.
There
are many dimensions into their music, they deliver thoughtful punk rock,
melodic rock and roll and happy power pop rock as well!!!! Well don't ask me how; I guess these guys have
found the absolute recipe for it for sure!!!!
“Subterranean
Reality” is a tasty CD album that comes on a nice digipack format, including 14
tracks, mostly on energetic fast tempo with a catchy rhythm section and two playful vocalists!!!
For
sure DAGGERPLAY 's song writing is melodic combined with perfect sound
engineering aesthetics (crystal sound), these 14 anthems get you closer to stuff
like ELVIS COSTELLO, LOU REED, THE OFFSPRING, RAMONES, GREENDAY, THE LAST
DRIVE, DEAD MOON, THE CLASH, SOCIAL DISTORTION, JOHNNY CASH, THE POQUES, VIOLENT
FEMMES, RANCID and many more!!!
DAGGERPLAY
seems to be a tight band and despite only having two albums, the second one on
vinyl too, they seem that they have a lot more to give!!! The release is
independent and if you like this kind of music, it is a good way to support DAGGERPLAY
and make your collection brighter!!!!
