CHAOS OVER COSMOS is a fantastic atmospheric
progressive power metal project including 2 members, a guitar wizard (+ plus
many more instruments and programming on this album) from Poland and a
charismatic singer from Spain. This is a five track recording with a full album
duration, including super melodic compositions, fantastic guitar solos and
keyboard solos plus a very melodic voice!!
I really love this album, all five songs are equal on
quality and it is a fine example of a progressive power metal work with
atmospheric parts, excellent melodies and breaks and absolute respectful drum
programming.
Generally “The Unknown Voyage” is going to satisfy prog metal fans, hard rock
and AOR fans and prog rock fans too, that is the price of a very well set up
production and the ability of the artists to combine melody with fantasy; metal with virtuosity and finally to produce
this album.
If you dig stuff like YES, THIRD VOICE, ASIA, ELP, FATES
WARNING, SPANDAU BALLET, DREAM THEATER, do yourself a favour and invest on buying
this album!!!
