VÛLOM Release New Video for “Longing”

 

Croatian doom metal band Vûlom have released a new music video for “Longing”, a track from their latest album, Love’s Lament, released on 13 September 2026.

The album follows A Step Closer to the Grave (2023) and explores deeply personal themes of love, guilt, sorrow and loss, focusing on the emotional scars left by past experiences and the difficult process of accepting inevitable endings.

Drawing inspiration from bands such as Saturnus, October Tide, Dawn of Solace, Hamferð, Paradise Lost and Swallow the Sun, Vûlom combine melodic passages with crushing heaviness and melancholic atmospheres. Their lyrics explore mortality, human insignificance and personal struggles, shaping a sound rooted in the darker, more introspective side of doom metal.

Vûlom’s current lineup consists of Domagoj Zrinski (vocals), Sandro Radan (guitar, backing vocals), Marko Katavić (guitar), Andrej Andonov (bass) and Bruno Biloglav (drums).

With Love’s Lament, the band continues to develop its emotionally driven approach to doom metal, with “Longing” offering another glimpse into the album’s sombre and reflective world.

Social Scream Release Official Video for “Now Command”

 

Greek Heavy Metal band Social Scream have released the official video for “Now Command,” a track from their new album, Setup To Transformation.

Featured as the album’s seventh track, “Now Command” appears in the second part of the ten-song release, which combines heavy riffs, complex rhythmic structures, and a dark, psychological atmosphere. The new video adds a visual dimension to the band’s latest work, further exploring its musical and thematic identity.

Following the presentation of “The Unified Field,” Social Scream continue to introduce different aspects of Setup To Transformation, bringing the album’s material to a wider audience through their latest audiovisual release.

Antichrist Magazine Announces A Tribute To Kreator

 

Antichrist magazine will release A Tribute To Kreator on November 6, 2026, featuring 21 bands from 11 countries paying tribute to the influential German thrash metal band.

The compilation spans several eras of Kreator’s career, bringing together early classics such as “Pleasure to Kill,” “Flag of Hate,” “Betrayer” and “Tormentor” with later tracks including “Violent Revolution,” “Phobia,” “Impossible Brutality” and “Demon Prince.” The selection also includes less frequently revisited material such as “Endorama,” “Black Sunrise,” “Golden Age” and “Stream of Consciousness.”

The participating bands represent Germany, Serbia, Poland, the UK, Turkey, Sweden, Brazil, the Netherlands, Australia, Norway and the USA, offering their own interpretations of songs from Kreator’s extensive catalogue.

A Tribute To Kreator will be available on Bandcamp and YouTube from November 6, 2026, via Antichrist magazine.

BE FADING FAST Release New Album Phobophobia

 

Czech death metal band Be Fading Fast have released their third full-length album, Phobophobia (2026). The album was recorded at Shaark Studios in Bzenec, Czech Republic, with Pavel Hlavica responsible for mixing and mastering.

Formed in 2006 by former Deflorace members, Be Fading Fast combine old-school death metal with thrash and hardcore influences. The band previously released Victims (2008) and Global Attack (2011). Despite lineup changes, periods of inactivity and injuries, the group continued working on new material, eventually returning to Shaark Studios to record their long-awaited third album.

Available as a digital release, Phobophobia marks the band's return with their uncompromising approach to extreme metal.

GULL SKULL Releases Debut Album My Favorite Season: Nuclear Winter

 

American avant-garde black metal project Gull Skull has released its debut album, My Favorite Season: Nuclear Winter. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Rampike Studios by sole member Cicuta Maculata.

Rooted in Appalachia, USA, Gull Skull combines dissonant tremolo-picked guitars and relentless blast beats with electronic frequencies, industrial hums, and layers of static. The result is a raw, noise-driven soundscape reflecting themes of geopolitical anxiety, total warfare, and nuclear devastation.

No Mästers Release Debut Self-Titled Album

 

Polish Heavy/Thrash Metal project No Mästers have released their self-titled debut album, recorded, mixed and mastered by Jan Bartoszewicz at 7A Studios.

Formed on New Year's Eve 2018 following the breakup of Polish underground act The Avengers, No Mästers is the creative vision of guitarist and songwriter Jan Bartoszewicz. Developed over several years in an improvised studio in Wrocław, the album reflects the project's DIY ethos, creative independence and personal approach to songwriting.

With the debut now completed, No Mästers are preparing to transition from the studio to the stage, with plans to assemble a power trio for live performances.

Sternweh Release New Lyric Video

 

German atmospheric black metal and shoegaze project Sternweh have released a new lyric video for “Sterngeborgen,” a track from their debut album Sehnflucht.

The recording was produced entirely in the band’s home studio, with Christian Witt handling the recording, mixing and mastering. Formed in Germany in 2025, Sternweh is the independent project of multi-instrumentalist and horror/fantasy author Christian Witt, with occasional vocal contributions from his wife, Yvonne.

The project explores themes of cosmic longing, escapism and emotional isolation, combining dense guitar-driven passages and harsh vocals with fragile acoustic sections and clean singing.

Pandæmonic Descent Release Debut EP

 

Dutch Death Metal band Pandæmonic Descent has released its debut EP, The Weight of Being Nothing. The release was recorded at Totally Music Studios and Studio Kerssies, with Sean Jansen handling the mixing and mastering.

Based in Almelo/Vriezenveen, the Netherlands, Pandæmonic Descent features Roy Bouwman (vocals), Matteo Tettero (lead guitar), Wesley Stoop (rhythm guitar), Sean Jansen (formerly bass), and Tycho Homan (drums). Drawing inspiration from bands such as Gojira, AngelMaker, and Amon Amarth, the band combines aggressive Death Metal riffs with lyrics rooted in personal experiences and themes that are often left unspoken.

Following sold-out performances at The Little Church in Almelo and Walhalla in Deventer, the band is currently working on recording new material and writing songs for future releases.

IBRIDOMA Release Official Video for “Sangue Innocente” Featuring Giacomo Voli

Italian heavy/power metal band IBRIDOMA has released the official video for “Sangue Innocente,” the title track of their seventh full-length album, featuring guest vocalist Giacomo Voli of Rhapsody of Fire. The song is the first single from the album, which was released digitally on August 28 and physically on September 25, 2026, through Punishment 18 Records.

According to the band, “Sangue Innocente” addresses indifference toward war and human suffering, focusing on the tendency to remain detached from tragedies until they directly affect us. The album contains ten tracks and also features soprano Chiara Malvestiti of Therion as a guest.

The album was recorded at Ulag Zone by Mauro Ulag Mancinelli, with vocals recorded at Sound Distillery by Damiano “Killer” Paoloni. Mancinelli also handled the mixing and mastering, while the cover artwork was created by Gustavo Sazes and the official video was directed by Alessandro Moglie

NIHILUS Release New Album “Borealis”

 

Indian technical death metal band Nihilus, from Bangalore, have released their new album “Borealis”, now available across major streaming platforms.

Known for exploring unconventional approaches within extreme metal, the band continues to push the boundaries of technical death metal on their latest release. One of the album’s distinctive concepts involves a song composed to work both forwards and backwards, highlighting Nihilus’ experimental approach to songwriting.

With “Borealis,” Nihilus present a new chapter in their development, combining technical precision with the intensity and complexity associated with modern death metal.

NERUMIA Release New Lyric Video for “Aliénation”

 

Swiss project NERUMIA have released a new lyric video for “Aliénation,” the title track of their forthcoming album Aliénation.

NERUMIA were officially formed in 2001 in the Swiss mountains by Pasquale “Scual” Rivetti and Philippe “Phil” Privet. The duo released two albums, The Land of the Black (2003) and I Don’t Understand (2007), before the project was put on hold following Privet’s death in 2009.

NERUMIA returned in 2020 with a new line-up featuring Magnus and Juan. Following Juan’s death in 2022, the remaining members completed Senza Realtà (2023), incorporating guitar solos he had recorded before his passing.

NERUMIA now continue as a trio with the addition of Adrien, preparing to enter their next chapter with Aliénation.

The current line-up features Scual (concept, lyrics, guitars, drums and lead vocals), Adrien (rhythm and lead guitars, vocals), and Magnus (bass and vocals).

PRAISE OF DEATH Release New Album

 

German Death Metal solo project Praise of Death have released their new album, “Rivers of Gore.” The album was recorded and mixed at Morbid Arts Productions by Mark Raziel, who also founded the project in Augsburg in 2024, and was mastered by Ilarion Ivanenko.

Praise of Death features Finnish vocalist Topias Jokipii and combines old-school Death Metal influences with heavy riffing, aggressive vocals, atmospheric passages, guitar solos and darker lyrical themes. The project previously released its debut album, “Philanthropist,” which explored subjects including nihilism, existential dread and human self-destruction.

With “Rivers of Gore,” Praise of Death continue to develop their approach to underground Death Metal, drawing on both its traditional brutality and more atmospheric and introspective elements.

EUSAPIA Release New Single “Relapse”

 

American post-black metal project Eusapia have released their new single, “Relapse,” the lead track from a two-stage release that will conclude with the song “Mercy” on December 21.

Recorded in the band’s home studio and mixed and mastered by Somnium Recording, “Relapse” combines elements of progressive depressive suicidal black metal (DSBM), post-rock and blackgaze. The track explores themes of addiction and isolation within the Pacific Northwest.

Eusapia have also announced that a portion of the proceeds from their physical merchandise will be donated directly to regional overdose prevention and low-barrier harm-reduction initiatives.

Formed in Washington State in 2013 and emerging from the foundations of the solo project Somnium, Eusapia operate as a studio-focused blackened post-metal project based in the Cascade Mountains. The current lineup features Somnium (bass/vocals), Cleopatra the Alchemist (guitars/vocals), Deenie (drums), and guitarists Chazdyn and Frank Keeler.

The band’s recent discography includes the Formless EP (2024) and Thin Cities / Desert Festival EP (2026).

MorteMutta Release New Single “Hrungutsutr”

 

International symphonic black metal project MorteMutta have released their new single, “Hrungutsutr,” now available for streaming. The track was recorded at Eijefjorden Studios and mixed and mastered by Chris Highlander.

Formed in 1999 by DC (Norway) and JJ (Japan), MorteMutta describe their music as “Fjordmetal,” combining elements of Nordic and Japanese folklore with multilingual vocals and unconventional instrumentation, including the koto and chainsaws. The project places particular emphasis on world-building and mythological storytelling, creating a cinematic setting that connects the landscapes and traditions of Norway and Japan.

“Hrungutsutr” continues the duo’s distinctive approach to combining symphonic black metal with their broader cross-cultural concept.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT Release New Single “Despair”

 

Siberian death ’n’ grind/deathcore band ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT have released their new single, “Despair,” on September 18, 2026. The track combines intense vocals, an organic production approach and lyrics addressing themes of social inequality and industrial dominance.

Formed in 2013 in Bratsk, Siberia, the band developed their sound within the region’s distinctive cultural and social environment. Their lineup includes a mathematics and computer science teacher who also serves as drummer, composer and sound engineer, as well as handling the band’s informational materials.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT released their debut full-length album, Venets Tvoreniya Prirody, in 2017, followed by the Big Brother Won't Forsake You EP in 2022. Their subsequent releases include the double single Essence of Evil / White World (2023) and the single Sincerity in Hatred (2025).

The band have performed extensively across Russia, appearing at major festivals and sharing stages with acts including VADER, MARDUK, SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL and GRIMA. They have also headlined the international NOISE festival in Mongolia.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT are currently working on a new full-length album, which is scheduled for release in spring 2027.

SENSES Release Official Video for “Love Is a Lie”

 

Athens-based Neo Glam Cyber Rock band Senses have released the official music video for their track “Love Is a Lie”, now available through the band’s official YouTube/VEVO channel.

Taken from their debut album Out of Line, “Love Is a Lie” combines hard rock and glam metal elements with an unmistakable ’80s influence and contemporary production. The song explores the emotional disillusionment that follows when a relationship is revealed to be based on an illusion, focusing on the conflict between leaving the past behind and trying to escape its consequences.

The accompanying video is built around live performance footage, featuring concert-style lighting, neon elements, smoke and sparks, alongside black-and-white backstage scenes. The visual approach emphasizes both the band's stage presence and the darker, cinematic aspects of their musical identity.

Senses describe their style as Neo Glam Cyber Rock, combining elements of ’80s glam metal and AOR with a more contemporary and futuristic aesthetic. With “Love Is a Lie,” the band further develops the musical and visual direction established with Out of Line.

Headliners της βραδιάς θα είναι οι dark power metallers The Silent Rage, οι οποίοι επιστρέφουν στη σκηνή για να γιορτάσουν ένα ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό ορόσημο στην ιστορία τους: τη συμπλήρωση 10 χρόνων από την κυκλοφορία του ντεμπούτου album τους, “The Deadliest Scourge”. Το album θα παρουσιαστεί στην ολότητά του, ενώ τη βραδιά θα πλαισιώσουν και special guests, τα ονόματα των οποίων θα ανακοινωθούν σύντομα, προσθέτοντας ακόμη μεγαλύτερη βαρύτητα σε αυτή την επετειακή εμφάνιση.

Λίγα λόγια για τις μπάντες

Οι The Silent Rage είναι μια dark power metal μπάντα που δημιουργήθηκε από τον κιθαρίστα Νίκο Σιγλίδη το 2006. Στην μέχρι τώρα πορεία της έχει κυκλοφορήσει δυο full length albums (“The Deadliest Scourge”, 2016, Alone Records & “Nuances Of Life”, 2023, Scarlet Records) μαζί με μια πληθώρα από αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενα EPs & Singles.

Στην μέχρι τώρα πορεία της η μπάντα έχει αποτελέσει opening act σε σχήματα όπως Shadow Gallery, Rage, Grave Digger, Stratovarius, Rotting Christ, Temperance, Primal Fear, Gus G., Destruction, Sabaton, Blind Guardian, Epica, Symphonity, Kamelot, Angra, Elegy, Dragony, Helstar ανάμεσα σε άλλα.

Η παρούσα εμφάνιση αναμένεται να είναι ένας φόρος τιμής στο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ της, “The Deadliest Scourge”, το οποίο έκλεισε δέκα χρόνια από την κυκλοφορία του. Μαζί τους επί σκηνής αναμένεται να βρεθούν κάποιοι ιδιαίτεροι guests, οι οποίοι θα ανακοινωθούν το προσεχές διάστημα.

Η παρούσα σύνθεση της μπάντας αποτελείται από τους Κωνσταντίνο Μάρη στα φωνητικά, Νίκο Σιγλίδη & Βασίλη Μπατίλα στις κιθάρες, Γιώργο Χανιωτάκη στο μπάσο & Σταμάτη Κατσαφάδο στα τύμπανα.

Οι DragonSkull σχηματίστηκαν στην Αθήνα τον Ιανουάριο του 2022, με στόχο να υπηρετήσουν το Epic/Heavy Metal. Η σύνθεση της μπάντας αποτελείται από τους Άρη Λάμπο στα φωνητικά, Χρήστο Μπριντζίκη στις κιθάρες και τα φωνητικά, Γιώργο Βουδούρη στο μπάσο και τα φωνητικά, Θοδωρή Σταματιάδη στα τύμπανα και τον Πάνο “Wallach” Βλαχόπουλο στις κιθάρες.

Το ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο EP “DragonSkull”, αποτελούμενο από πέντε κομμάτια, κυκλοφόρησε ανεξάρτητα και απέσπασε θερμή υποδοχή από το κοινό και θετικές κριτικές από webzines, forums και μέσα του εξωτερικού. Το ομώνυμο τραγούδι συμπεριλήφθηκε στη cult συλλογή “Power Feast IV”, δίπλα σε σημαντικά ονόματα της ελληνικής Epic/Heavy Metal σκηνής.

Η θετική ανταπόκριση συνεχίστηκε μέσα από σημαντικές ζωντανές εμφανίσεις, μεταξύ άλλων ως special guests των Jag Panzer, καθώς και στο πλευρό των Domine και Medieval Steel στα πλαίσια του Into Battle Festival. Οι DragonSkull ξεχώρισαν για τις δυναμικές και άρτια εκτελεσμένες εμφανίσεις τους, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη συνοχή του ήχου, την απόδοση και τη σκηνική τους παρουσία.

Τον Μάρτιο του 2025, η μπάντα κυκλοφόρησε μέσω της Eat Metal Records το πρώτο της full-length album, “Chaos Fire Vengeance”. Με οκτώ νέες συνθέσεις, το άλμπουμ συνεχίζει να αναδεικνύει τον επικό και επιθετικό χαρακτήρα των DragonSkull, έχοντας ήδη αποσπάσει θετικές αντιδράσεις από το metal κοινό, τον Τύπο και τους κριτικούς.

Οι Heavenblack είναι μια modern heavy metal μπάντα από την Αθήνα, δημιουργημένη από τον Γιάννη Πατακάκη, με βασικά χαρακτηριστικά τον δυναμικό τους ήχο, την έντονη σκηνική παρουσία και την άμεση επικοινωνία με το κοινό. Από τα πρώτα τους βήματα, το συγκρότημα έχει καταφέρει να δημιουργήσει έναν σταθερό πυρήνα υποστηρικτών, μέσα από μια σειρά ζωντανών εμφανίσεων και τη συνεχή παρουσία του στην εγχώρια underground σκηνή.

Στην πορεία τους, οι Heavenblack έχουν μοιραστεί τη σκηνή με αρκετά συγκροτήματα της ελληνικής metal σκηνής, αλλά και με καταξιωμένα διεθνή ονόματα, μεταξύ των οποίων οι Praying Mantis, ενισχύοντας την παρουσία τους στα ελληνικά συναυλιακά δρώμενα.

Το συγκρότημα έκανε το δισκογραφικό του ντεμπούτο το 2018, με την κυκλοφορία του ομώνυμου EP “Heavenblack”. Το επόμενο σημαντικό βήμα ήρθε τον Αύγουστο του 2024, όταν οι Heavenblack κυκλοφόρησαν μέσω της ελληνικής Sleaszy Rider Records το πρώτο τους full-length album, “Blindfolded”. Το άλμπουμ απέσπασε ενθαρρυντικές κριτικές από τον μουσικό Τύπο και τα metal media, επιβεβαιώνοντας την ανοδική πορεία της μπάντας.

Σε μια νέα εποχή για το συγκρότημα, οι Heavenblack παρουσίασαν πρόσφατα τη νέα τους σύνθεση, η οποία αποτελείται από τους Μάριο Κουρούπη στα φωνητικά, Δημήτρη Βαρβαρίγο και Γιάννη Πατακάκη στις κιθάρες, Νίκο Ράπτη στο μπάσο και Θοδωρή Μοτάκη στα τύμπανα.

Decibel Dogs Take on Humanity’s Darkest Habit in "Day Zero"

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Florida-based rock group Decibel Dogs has officially released their latest single, "Day Zero," a track that merges heavy instrumentation with a thematic critique of human history.

Drawing from a blend of classic rock, heavy metal, and punk influences, the band utilizes heavy guitar riffs, driving basslines, and aggressive percussion to deliver a sound that mirrors the song's brooding subject matter.

"Day Zero" focuses on the cyclical nature of human conflict and societal collapse. Rather than detailing a specific historical event or hypothetical disaster, the lyricism examines broader patterns of greed, power, and oversight that have repeatedly led societies to ruin.

The concept of "Day Zero" refers to the metaphorical point of reset following a total collapse—a clean slate where civilization attempts to rebuild. However, the track presents a critical look at this renewal, raising the question of whether humanity is inherently bound to repeat past mistakes if core behaviors remain unaddressed.

NERO Release Debut Album

 

Colombian melodic/progressive death metal band Nero have released their debut studio album, Iter Umbrae. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Mauricio Gallón at Soundblast Studios.

Formed in Colombia in 2019, Nero combine melodic death metal with doom and progressive elements. The band features vocalist Isabel Andujar, guitarists Ruben Dario and Andy Lasso, bassist Leonardo Trujillo, and drummer Andres Lopez.

Iter Umbrae explores themes of philosophy, consciousness and human introspection, drawing particularly on Carl Jung’s concept of the “shadow self.” Through its compositions, Nero examine the hidden aspects of the human psyche and the internal forces that contribute to personal identity.

MYSTFALL Release Video for “Remnants Of Tomorrow”

 

Greek symphonic metal band MYSTFALL have released an official video for “Remnants Of Tomorrow,” the fourth single from their latest album, Embers Of A Dying World. The album was released in March through Scarlet Records.

The video was created by Bob Katsionis and Alexander Haritakis, accompanying the song with a visual interpretation of the album’s atmospheric and conceptual themes.

Embers Of A Dying World explores an alternative dimension in which dreams remain alive while confronting nightmares in an attempt to preserve the human spirit. The album’s central concept focuses on the consequences of human actions on Earth, with each song presented as a separate, yet-unfolding story.
