This one varies from previous releases, it's not as heavy. But when IT IS heavy, it's thick and chunky guitar-work. The tempos are for sure slow, but that goes with pretty much every doom metal based band! For example, Draconian is a prime source for doom metal also and their tempos are pretty slow. The vocals on here are more clean than (it seems) hoarse. It waves well into the heavy guitars. I'm not sure what they tune to (the guitars), but they are heavy. The music is better than the last release, it's just hardcore doom! I should say that the switch between heavy throat to clean works out well.

Canadian Gothic Metal band MORTALFALL released their new EP «Point of Departure». The EP was recorded at "GLIM AUDIO Productions", and mixed/mastered by Andrei Sin and Jon Mychal.

MORTALFALL was formed in 2016 at Toronto, Canada and consists of Anastasia Utoplova (vocals), Steven Savo (guitar), Tristan James Biggar (bass), Martin Drozd (keyboards), and Alejandro Carrier (drums).

Το να πιστεύει κανείς ότι μπορεί να ορίσει την τέχνη και να υποδείξει σε άλλους τι να θεωρούν καλό και τι όχι είναι κάτι που δείχνε το πόσο αλαζόνας είναι ως άνθρωπος και ότι διέπεται από μια φασιστική νοοτροπία. Το αν αρέσει κάτι σε εμένα ή σε εσένα είναι καθαρά υποκειμενικό και καθαρά θέμα γούστου. Επίσης με το να ορίζουμε τι είναι και τι δεν είναι «γνήσιο» ή αυθεντικό metal πολλές φορές μας στερεί τη δυνατότητα να ακούσουμε κάτι που ίσως πραγματικά να αξίζει και μας διευρύνει τους ορίζοντες.

This one is a little atypical for me, be it my first learning about the band and the music itself. It is in a strange genre, more like two genres mixed into one. But they complete the task of getting the job done in the music department. They have slow, medium and fast tempos throughout the entire album. The Spotify version has 4 bonus tracks for people that cannot get enough of this band. Totally original piece of work! I've not heard their earlier material, though I'd really like to. It just is amazing the whole way through. Not much on the lyrical concepts, just the music is what's most important.

Μόλις είδα το βιβλίο αυτό στα ράφια του βιβλιοπωλείου, έσπευσα να το αγοράσω αμέσως. Όπως και οι περισσότεροι που αγόρασαν το βιβλίο ο λόγος ήταν ότι πραγματευόταν την ιστορία του Θεόδωρου Φιλήτα που μετάφρασε το βιβλίο του τρελού Άραβα ποιητή, γνωστό ως Νεκρονομικόν, από τα Αραβικά στην Ελληνική γλώσσα.

Swedish Power Metal band THE LIGHTBRINGER released their new single «Into the Night» from their upcoming album "Rise of the Beast". The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Ronny Milianowicz at "Studio Seven"

THE LIGHTBRINGER was formed in 2017 by Lars Eng (Guitars). Soon after Jonas Andersson (Lead guitar), Henrik Bergqvist (Bass) and Tobbe Jonsson (Drums) joined the band and the guys start the work on the debut album. In 2019 the vocalist Herbie Langhans (Avantasia, Firewind) joined the band and the lineup was complete.

Brutal, uncompromising and original this LP tops pretty much everything that came the way in 1991 via the brutal death metal scene. Napalm Death was right up there with 'Harmony Corruption', but this one is slower in comparison, not much. These guys started or paved the way to the death metal scene with the newly born Entombed (a few years prior) and Deicide. But Suffocation has their own sound here, which it will remain to be one of their best albums if not THE best. Everything seemed to come together and the riffs are amazing. They're so thick with a heavy, distorted tone.

This is a pretty brutal EP, not to say that all of their LP's aren't because they are, just this one due to the production as well as access to the equipment that's desirable for the recording, this one is one monumental piece. The riffs are heavy and thick, the tempos slow (for the most part). And the vocals are hoarse. But anyway, getting to the "nitty-gritty" of the EP, you can say that it's a good use of 25+ minutes of your time, for death metal fans, that is. As well as Chicago based metal fans, first and foremost. Each song is roughly 5 minutes in length. Every single one on here just kicks ass.

Δυστυχώς το Μιλάνο τον τελευταίο καιρό μας έχει απασχολήσει για το δυσάρεστο γεγονός ότι πολλοί συνάνθρωποι μας έχασαν την ζωή τους λόγω της πανδημίας. Μια κατάσταση που εύχομαι από καρδιάς να τελειώσει σύντομα και η ζωή να βρει τον κανονικό της ρυθμό εκεί, αλλά και σε όλο τον κόσμο. Εδώ, όμως, το Μιλάνο θα μας απασχολήσει για πιο ευχάριστο λόγο. Το συγκρότημα αυτό που δημιουργήθηκε το 1984 στο Σαν Αντόνιο του Τέξας των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών Αμερικής και κυκλοφόρησε το παρόν ντεμπούτο του το 1986 μπορεί να σας είναι παντελώς άγνωστο ή ίσως να το πετύχατε σε κάποιες από τις αναζητήσεις σας στο διαδίκτυο. Εγώ προσωπικά έτυχε να βρω το βινύλιο τους σε πολύ καλή τιμή και αποφάσισα να πάρω το ρίσκο και να το αποκτήσω. Σε αυτό συνέβαλε πέραν της καλής τιμής και το γεγονός ότι στα ντραμς συμμετέχει ο γνωστός Bobby Jarzombek που τον μάθαμε από τις συμμετοχές του όπως στην προσωπική μπάντα του μεταλ θεού Rob Halford και στους FATES WARNING. Το ότι βέβαια συμμετέχει κάποιος γνωστός μουσικός σε κάποιο συγκρότημα δεν το κάνει αυτομάτως και άξιο λόγου ή άξιο προσοχής.

This one (as a debut) just reigns supreme, it's about as good as 'Retribution' maybe even a bit better! Just laying the foundation here in the early 90's, they pretty much killed it here! The chunky riffs and sick production owns this debut. Not saying that each and every following album is as good, but a lot of them are. Bret Hoffman (RIP) was awesome on vocals. Things without him just aren't the same. Here he simply shows his range in the vocal department. Love his screams! The music augments the rest of the album and the mixing was really good! I think the guitar was significant on here, too.

British Heavy Metal band SNATCH BACK released their debut album «Ride Hard Run Free». The album was mixed/mastered by Bart Gabriel & Rafal Kossakowski at "Sound Art Agencja Artystyczna Studios" in Trezbinia, Poland.

SNATCH BACK was formed in 1974 at St. Helens, England by John Cowley (vocals), Ste Byatt (guitar), Ian Wood (bass) and Ste Platt (drums). The band released their single “Eastern Lady /Cryin' to the Night” in 1979, but split up in 1983. In 2016 they reunited to release their EP “Back in the Game” and have played several large events, including Mearfests North & South.

Και αναρωτιόμουν που έχουν χαθεί αυτές οι ψυχές; Οι  AMBUSH που ιδρύθηκαν το 2013 στην Σουηδία (που αλλού;) κυκλοφόρησαν το 2014 και 2015 τους δίσκους «Firestorm» και «Desecrator» και μετά σιωπή… Με χαρά μου πληροφορήθηκα ότι το 2020 θα κυκλοφορήσουν, επιτέλους, την τρίτη τους δουλειά. Προφανώς, είναι της φιλοσοφίας το καλό πράμα αργεί ή του κάλιο αργά παρά ποτέ…..

Australian Atmospheric Post-Black Metal band CALEA DREAMING released their new album «Red Cedar Falls». The album was recorded/mixed and mastered by Calea in "Huon Pine Studio".

CALEA DREAMING was formed in 2016 at Coffs Harbour, Australia as a one man project creating a mix of instrumental atmospheric post black metal, inspired by the natural landscapes that surround Calea's home region. In 2018 the band released their debut album "The Rainforest Canopy".
