New drummer for Wastefall.

 

Greek progressive metal band Wastefall has added a new drummer, Babis Amoiridis (formerly of Conspiranoia and Time Collapse). The band is excited about the fresh energy and talent he brings, especially in their track "Empty Haven." Since their reactivation, Wastefall has released two singles, "Iced Heart" and "Aeternum," with a third single expected soon.

English musician Martin Williams, a solo artist in the atmospheric black metal genre, has released a new single called "Soldat und Tod". The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Williams himself in his "Hecate Studios". With influences from various black metal bands, as well as classical and film scores, Williams' music is characterized by emotional intensity and solemn, reflective songwriting.

The album "King of the Distant Forest," released in 1998, marks the second official release by the Swedish band Mithotyn. ANIALATOR reveal 1st song, cover art and tracklist for long due 1st album!!

 

ANIALATOR, the legendary Texas thrash metal band, has announced their long-awaited first full-length album, *Death is Calling*, set to be released on October 22nd, 2024, via Xtreem Music. The album will be available in CD, 12" LP, Cassette, and Digital formats.

Formed in 1986, ANIALATOR released a demo and two EPs before briefly changing their name to SUFFERANCE in the early '90s. The band reformed in 2015, releasing a compilation album *Mission of Death* in 2017 and the EP *Rise to Supremacy* in 2018, both through Xtreem Music. After a legal battle over the band's name, original member Alex Dominguez retained the rights, and the band faced lineup changes while working on *Death is Calling* from 2022 to 2024.

Μιλάμε για τον Chris Imppelliteri, κιθαρίστα με χαρακτηριστικά αλάνθαστο τρόπο παιξίματος και σύνθεσης που μαζί με τους συνεργάτες του Rob Rock σε φωνή κι Ken Mary σε ντραμς έχουν γράψει μερικά απ'τα πιο "άγνωστα" στο ευρύ κοινό Heavy Metal αλμπουμ. Αν σκεφτούμε ότι στο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ Stand in Line  τα φωνητικά ήταν του Graham Bοnnet (Rainbow, M.S.G., Alcatrazz) καταλαβαίνουμε την αξία του ως οντότητα. Εδώ στο διπλό αυτό CD του άλμπουμ του 1997 που στην επανέκδοση έχει το μίνι άλμπουμ του '93, ακούμε κλασικό U.S. Heavy με τα υπέρ - χαρακτηριστικά, πληθωριστικά καθαριστικά σόλο το Chris να ντύνουν τις συνθέσεις. Το υπόλοιπο σχήμα αποτελούν ο μπασίστας James Amelio Pulli και ο πληκτράς Edward Harris Roth. Η νεοκλασικού τύπου συνθέσεις που βρίσκονται ανάμεσα στις σκληρές rock μελωδίες του δίσκου, φέρνουν στο μυαλό τον έτερο βιρτουόζο Y.J. Malmsteen αλλά είναι ένα πολύ, ευτυχώς, αμυδρό μετρό σύγκρισης. Κομμάτια σαν το ομώνυμο του δίσκου που ανοίγει το σύνολο, τα Shed Your Blood, Bleed in Silence, Master of Disguise, Everything is You, Kingdom Fighter, Paradise απ' το άλμπουμ κι τα Warrior, Fly Away και το ομώνυμο απ'  το Victim of the System, είναι πραγματικά ένας χαμένος θησαυρός κομματιών μέσα στη πλειάδα άλμπουμ γνωστών και γνωστότερων συγκροτημάτων.

We're talking about Chris Impellitteri, a guitarist with a uniquely flawless playing and composing style. Along with his collaborators, Rob Rock on vocals and Ken Mary on drums, they've produced some of the most "unknown" Heavy Metal albums to the general public. When you consider that the vocals on their debut album *Stand in Line* were performed by Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, M.S.G., Alcatrazz), you can appreciate their value as a band. On this double CD, which includes their 1997 album along with the reissued 1993 mini-album, we hear classic U.S. Heavy Metal with Chris's over-the-top, technically brilliant solos adding depth to the compositions. The rest of the lineup consists of bassist James Amelio Pulli and keyboardist Edward Harris Roth. The neoclassical compositions, which sit between the hard rock melodies of the album, bring to mind another virtuoso, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, though thankfully, the comparison is only faint. Tracks like the album's title track, *Shed Your Blood*, *Bleed in Silence*, *Master of Disguise*, *Everything is You*, *Kingdom Fighter*, *Paradise* from the album, and *Warrior*, *Fly Away*, and the title track from *Victim of the System*, are truly lost treasures among the plethora of albums by more well-known bands.

DROWNING IN BLOOD is a thrash metal band from Montreal with epic harmonies, powerful riffs, and themes of war, freedom, and revolution. Influenced by bands like Metallica and Slayer, they formed with drummer Noah Muller, bassist Mathieu Brunet, and guitarist/vocalist Christophe Michaud. Later, they added guitarist Justin Boisvert and replaced Mathieu with Nicolas Tremblay. They released their debut EP *Crush The Weak* in 2021, followed by the single *Resist, Revolt!* in 2022, and their latest album, *You've Won... But At What Cost?*, on August 9th.
