Δεν θέλω να γράψω τίποτα...

Mετα  το Ritche Blackmore's Rainbow o θρυλικος κιθαριστας απεμεινε με τον Ronnie James Dio, "σουταρωντας" ευγενικα οπως παντα (χιχι!) μπασιστα, πληκτρα και ντραμερ (ουσιαστικα τους μουσικους των ELF πλην του Dio!) και τους αντικατεστησε με τους Jimmy Bain μπασο, Cozzy Powell ντραμς και Tony Carrey στα πληκτρα.  Τα εξι μονο κοματια που το αποτελουν θα το κατετασαν στα Ε.Ρ. αλλα τα δυο τελευταια Stargazer και A Light In The Black ειναι απο 8 λεπτα το καθενα σε διαρκεια!!! Τα Tarot Woman, Run With The Wolf, Stastruck ειναι απαιχτα. Ε, το rock 'n' roll τραγουδακι που λεγεται Do You Close Your Eyes δε μας πειραζει και τοσο... Τι δισκαρα ρε!!!

Following Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, the legendary guitarist remained, joining forces with Ronnie James Dio, elegantly parting ways with the bassist, keyboardist, and drummer (essentially the ELF musicians, minus Dio!), and replacing them with Jimmy Bain on bass, Cozy Powell on drums, and Tony Carey on keyboards. Although comprising only six tracks, this collection is often labeled an EP, but the final two songs, "Stargazer" and "A Light In The Black," each clock in at over 8 minutes! "Tarot Woman," "Run With The Wolf," and "Starstruck" shine brilliantly. As for the rock 'n' roll gem "Do You Close Your Eyes," it's a delightful addition. What a truly exceptional album!"

This Pittsburgh/Cleveland-based death metal album is a real gem. As my first CD from this band, it exceeded my expectations. The standout features are the unique vocals, which deviate from the typical death metal growls with their intriguing fluctuations.

Το 4ο στη σειρά μετά την επανένωση με τον Alex Scolnick, μαζί βέβαια οι Chuck Billy, Eric Peterson (αυτοί ήταν για χρόνια τα μόνα αρχικά μέλη) και οι κ.κ. Gene Hoglan drums, Steve Diorgio μπάσο, οι οποίοι μπαινοβγαίνουν τακτικά στους Testa, όταν χρειάζεται. Εδώ έχουμε ένα κατόρθωμα: Τετάρτη άψογη κυκλοφορία στη σειρά μέσα σε δώδεκα χρόνια... Formation Of Damnation  και Dark Roots Of the Earth, The Brotherhood of the Snake πριν ήταν άλμπουμς του 10/10, τίμια και ντόμπρα, δεκαρι και αυτό. Καλιφορνεζικο  thrash με το γνωστό ύφος τους και τη φωνάρα του Ινδιάνου πολέμαρχου Chuck Billy, πάντα σε τρελή διάθεση μέσα από 12 κομμάτια που δεν έχουν καν ούτε ένα filler στα δικά μου αυτιά.

This is the fourth release in the series, following the reunion with Alex Scolnick. The core members, Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson, have been the anchor for years. Joining them are the versatile talents of Gene Hoglan on drums and Steve Diorgio on bass, regular collaborators whenever Testa calls for reinforcements.

What's truly remarkable here is the consistency. A twelve-year wait leads to a flawless Wednesday release, delivering on expectations without fail. The trio of "Formation Of Damnation," "Dark Roots Of the Earth," and "The Brotherhood of the Snake" set the bar high with 10/10 albums, and this one maintains that level with integrity.

It's quintessential Californian thrash, embracing their signature style. Chuck Billy, the Indian warrior, lends his commanding voice, exuding boundless energy and fervor. The album features twelve tracks, each meticulously crafted, with not a single one that could be called a filler, at least not in my ears.

Demonaz's vocals exhibit the same robustness as Abbath's, making their styles remarkably similar. However, on this album, the guitar riffs are noticeably tighter than in most of Immortal's previous releases. My personal favorites among Immortal's albums include 'At The Heart of Winter,' although it had somewhat weaker production quality. 'Blizzard Beasts' suffered from even poorer production, yet it featured great riffs, particularly in 'Mountains of Might.' This album marks another chapter in Immortal's journey, uninterrupted by previous disputes. I appreciate the direction they're taking here, with numerous epic riffs crafted by Demonaz. Despite its sub-40-minute duration, this album is a worthwhile experience.
