Spanish thrash metal band HOLYCIDE has released an
animated video for their third advance single from the upcoming album
"Towards Idiocracy," set to drop on June 6th, coinciding with the
International Day of Slayer. The album will be available through Xtreem Music
on CD, 12" LP, cassette, and digital formats. Vocalist Dave Rotten
explains that the song's lyrics address the prevalence of fake news in today's
society. He criticizes how people often embrace falsehoods that align with
their beliefs, turning lies and hoaxes into perceived truths, echoing Göbbels'
infamous dictum: "a lie repeated a thousand times becomes a truth."
