OPEN BURN is a U.S. metal band with very talented and experienced musicians; the bassist, guitarist and drummer used to be in the legendary power progressive metal band LETHAL on the “Arrival” and “Programmed” era and the singer comes from bands such as SIMPLE AGRESSION, CHASTAINS’S SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN and HUMAN COMETH. Do I have to say more?

This magnificent 5 track recording actually includes 4 compositions and a bonus acoustic version and it is a joy for every traditional 80s heavy metal fan’s ears.

Nice, simple songs with fantastic vocal lines, I dare say a perfect mix of TIM AYMAR and R.J.DIO, very nice guitar work and excellent solos and a fantastic bass player with an addition of a great drummer.

If you like stuff like HELSTAR, LEATHERWOLF, DIO, SAXON, IRON MAIDEN, ACCEPT, SAVAGE, SAVATAGE, AXXIS, LIZZY BORDEN, Z, ARTCH and many more, give it a listen, this is a small taste for what is to come as the band is preparing for a new studio album. This is a recording by great musicians for people with great heavy metal taste.
