Οι
Γάλλοι Sortilège, στο πρώτο τους μίνι άλμπουμ, παίζουν κλασικό 80s Heavy Metal.
Τίποτα πρωτότυπο, πέραν της γαλλικής γλώσσας, που, σαν γνήσιοι σωβινιστές,
χρησιμοποιούν. Και ξέρετε κάτι; Καλά κάνουν! Πολλοί δεν μπορούν να ακούσουν
Rock και Metal σε άλλη γλώσσα πέραν της αγγλικής, κάτι που προσωπικά ποτέ δεν
κατάλαβα ούτε σκέφτηκα. Όπως και να έχει, οι πέντε μουσικοί της αρχικής
σύνθεσης: Christian "Zouille" Augustin (φωνητικά), Dem και Stèphane
(κιθάρες), Daniel Lap (μπάσο) και Bob Snake (τύμπανα), δημιουργούν μουσική που,
αν ήταν στα αγγλικά, θα ήταν ξεκάθαρα NWOBHM. Amazone, Sortilège, Gladiteur,
Progeniture είναι ύμνοι της εποχής τους και του συγκροτήματος.

Promising.
The French band Sortilège, on their debut mini-album,
play classic 80s Heavy Metal. Nothing particularly original, aside from the
French language they sing in, which, like true proud nationalists, they use.
And you know what? Good for them! Many people cannot listen to Rock and Metal
in any language other than English, something I personally never understood or
even thought about. Anyway, the five musicians from the original
lineup—Christian "Zouille" Augustin (vocals), Dem and Stèphane
(guitars), Daniel Lap (bass), and Bob Snake (drums)—create music that, if sung
in English, would clearly be NWOBHM. Amazone, Sortilège, Gladiteur, and
Progeniture are hymns of their era and of the band.
