This is a somewhat less heavy release than say 'Halo of Blood', but it's more melodic.  If I were to go so far as to say if this is their MOST melodic album to date, I'd have to disagree on the premise. My contention is that it's not as brutal as previous albums, be it 'Hate Crew Deathroll', 'Follow the Reaper', et al. It's like heavy metal mixed with melodic bits.  They sure show their influences though, be it thrashers or composers, COB recognizes that they're main idols were actual composers. I only know this because I'm into all sorts of metal and composers like Mozart. Some albums sound like classical mixed with heavy metal guitar-work.

Το Ελληνικό κράτος από ιδρύσεως του, αλλά πιο συστηματικά στις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα θέλησε να διαμορφώσει το προφίλ του Έλληνα πολίτη με συγκεκριμένα φυλετικά και θρησκευτικά χαρακτηριστικά. Κοινώς ήθελε να διαμορφώσει αυτό που λέμε Ελλάς Ελλήνων Χριστιανών. Ότι δεν ταίριαζε στο προφίλ αυτό το κυνήγησε, το δαιμονοποίησε και προσπάθησε να το εξαφανίσει δια της βίας. Οδηγούμενο δε σε αυτές τις ενέργειες δημιούργησε περισσότερα προβλήματα από ότι έλυσε. Αυτά όλα αναδεικνύονται με κάθε λεπτομέρεια στο συγκεκριμένο βιβλίο.

I don't care what anyone says about newer IN FLAMES minus Jesper... I like “I, The Mask”. The rhythms, the vibe, the vocals, the leads and the overall essence of IN FLAMES now. I think their new guitarists have some shoes to fill with Jesper out of the lineup. But they did a great job on this album! The rhythms were phenomenal. I liked this CD so much I ordered a CD of it on Amazon. Yes, the IN FLAMES of the old is gone people, that's never going to change. If those think that they should've changed their name changing their style, so be it. But they didn't. So just accept that they're playing more melodic/metalcore.

Το μουσικό ταξίδι της metal μουσικής είναι τόσο συναρπαστικό και κρύβει τόσο ενδιαφέρουσες εκπλήξεις. Το σημαντικότερο, όμως, όλων είναι ότι καταφέρνει να φέρει κοντά ανθρώπους από διαφορετικές ηπείρους και διαφορετικής κουλτούρας προκειμένου να δημιουργήσουν την δική τους μουσική. Τέτοια είναι η περίπτωση των GRAVEFIELDS, όπου ο Alan Hurley από την Αίγυπτο και  ο Γάλλος τραγουδιστής DM συνεργάστηκαν και συνεργάζονται προκειμένου να δημιουργήσουν συνθέσεις ακραίου metal ήχου.

One word: MASTERPIECE!! This album is a monument to the SODOM of the old and new. It's totally diverse and noteworthy. The way that the band goes from fast songs to more heavy rhythm ones. They really know how to change things up musically. My first impression of this album totally changed after I heard it a couple more times. My conclusion was written above. The production was the only thing keeping them from getting a full 100%. I think that the guitars were a little difficult to hear, but the riffs/leads were well executed. There are 13 songs on here, but each one isn't very long in length.

With the revival of Steve "Zetro" Souza back in the band, EXODUS is back in the lineup! What a relief with EXODUS not lead by them for years, he's finally back to do a vocals onslaught. The music on here isn't the greatest from EXODUS, but at least they're still thrash metal. I think (for me), 'Impact Is Imminent' is their best work to date. That's an old release, too! But let's talk about what's going on here. EXODUS spewed forth some good riffs and even over an hour of music, they're still kicking ass! Guitarists would be impressed with the riffs and the leads. Not so much about previous releases, the focus now is on current ones.

Δεν ξέρω αν το συγκρότημα εμπνεύστηκε το όνομά του από την γνωστή σειρά ταινιών τρόμου ή αν με αυτό θέλει να περιγράψει την δυναμική του ήχου του. Αν η επιλογή έγινε με βάση το δεύτερο κριτήριο τότε επέλεξαν σοφά, αφού η μουσική τους διακρίνεται για τα επιθετικά riff τα οποία υποστηρίζονται από ωραίες μελωδίες, όπου χρειάζεται.

OAKENFORM released debut EP

Russian Downtempo Deathcore band OAKENFORM released their debut EP «Agony Of The Human World». The EP was recorded in "Shirman Sound Studio", and mixed/mastered by Artyom Shirman.

OAKENFORM was formed in Glazov, Russia at 2018 by Artyom Shirman (vocals) and Sergey Provotorov (guitar). Soon after Igor Kozlov (bass), Michail Volkov (drums) and Maxim Sinitzin (guitar) joined the band, and the lineup was completed. Right now, the band is working on their debut album that will be released in 2020.

Another milestone! What a great album, musically projected as these thrashers continue to progress in their later years. Total bad asses. The music is what we'll talk about here. Every track on here is worthy of praise. Nothing on here is half assed or ill-fated. It's all congruently matching in resurrection of these thrash gods. All of their ideas are in accordance with musical reason. These guys tear it up with the guitars and vocals. The production sound is just superb. And the mixing is also well done. This is (to me) one of the best OVERKILL albums I've thought the most highly of. It used to be 'The Years of Decay' but after hearing this one, it's my favorite.

EROICA released new album

Swiss Heavy Metal band EROICA released their new album «Blind Observer». The album was recorded at "Sbsound.ch Studio", and mixed/mastered by "Sbsound-Productions".

EROICA was formed in 1990 at Seon, Switzerland by Andre Häusermann (vocal/guitar) and Peter Werfeli (vocal/guitar). Year after Bjorn Rindlisbacher (drums) and Markus Reichardt (bass) joined the band, and the lineup was complete.

This album is a monument of thrash inculcated! All 51 minutes in its length is worth mentioning because the music just flows resoundingly. Not a dull riff, lead or vocals. It's solid the whole way through. The production was supreme as well. Everything mixed well one helluv a release. There are some bands they don't progress during their musical career but OVERKILL keeps coming back with kick ass albums. A notch better to me then 'The Grinding Wheel', their previous release. I can't think of an album by OVERKILL that I haven't liked. Their musicianship reigns supreme it just keeps getting better.
