Born in 1972, Michael Heß found his love for metal at
age 10 after hearing Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' "I Love Rock 'n
Roll" on the radio. This ignited his passion for electric guitars, and in
2003, he bought his first one, starting a new chapter in his life filled with
practice and joy.
In December 2022, Michael recorded demo songs for the
first time, aiming to write a tribute to his late brother, Markus Heß.
Collaborating with Gonzalo Civita, their work led to more songs and the release
of Michael’s debut EP, “Landscape of Sorrow,” on August 9, 2023—Markus's
birthday.
However, the process wasn’t without challenges. Some
people, who also knew his brother, changed their attitude when they learned he
was making music. Initially disheartened, Michael came to pity them,
recognizing the destructive power of envy.
This inspired his upcoming single, "Human
Masquerade," releasing on October 4th, paving the way for a new album in
2025.
