SD17 is a five-member American metal band from
Albuquerque, NM. Born during the COVID pandemic as a recording project in 2020,
SD17 evolved into a group of dedicated professionals in 2023, who connected
through personal contacts and the internet. With influences ranging from
classic rock to modern metal, their distinctive and entertaining style blends
explosive riffs, thunderous drums, and a wild attitude. SD17 has over 150K
streams on Spotify and recently won the weekly Battle of the Bands competition
on Metal Devastation Radio.
