EDGE OF PARADISE Announces New Album “Prophecy”

 

Los Angeles-based hard rock band EDGE OF PARADISE has made a significant impact on the heavy music scene with their acclaimed albums, including *Universe* (2019), *The Unknown* (2021), and *Hologram* (2023), as well as successful tours with notable bands like Lacuna Coil, DragonForce, and Amaranthe. They are set to release their sixth studio album, *Prophecy*, on March 7, 2025, marking their debut with Napalm Records.

The album explores the theme of "The Singularity," a predicted moment when humanity loses control over artificial intelligence, leading to drastic changes in life. Frontwoman Margarita Monet addresses this existential crisis through personal and vulnerable lyrics, complemented by striking artwork. Co-produced with Mike Plotnikoff and mixed by Jacob Hansen, *Prophecy* features 8-string guitars, delivering a powerful sound.

Alongside the album announcement, the band released the single "Death Note," characterized by soaring melodies and heavy riffs. The song calls for listeners to reconnect with humanity amid technological entrapment. The official music video, directed by Monet, showcases high-quality special effects and immersive visuals, transporting viewers into the band's narrative world. Monet describes the single as a battle for identity and connection, emphasizing the human spirit's resilience against digital forces that threaten individuality.
