Όλες οι επιρροές τους συγκεντρωμένες σε ένα άλμπουμ. 

Είναι από τα πιο πολυποίκιλα συγκροτήματα οι Νορβηγοί. Έχουν παίξει Death, Black, Heavy, Thrash Metal με Punk πινελιές που και που, και εδώ εστιάζουν σε ένα μείγμα από Celtic Frost, NWOBHM, με έμφαση βέβαια στους θείους Venom, αρκετούτσικο Motörhead αίσθημα, ψειρίσματα από Bathory, και από πάνω και λίγα Crust Punk που τους είχαν απομείνει από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας. Οι δύο δημιουργοί και πολυοργανίστες, Fenriz και Nocturno Culto, εύχονται ευγενικά στο αρκτικόλεξο αυτού του άλμπουμ "τα καλύτερα" (F#ck Off And Die!!!), με αντικειμενικό σκοπό να στραφεί η ευχή στους πολέμιους της Metal γενικότερα. 

Με παραγωγή που δεν διεκδικεί τα εύσημα των μεγάλων στούντιο του κόσμου, αν και αυτό το low fidelity αισθητικό αποτέλεσμα είναι διαχρονικά συνυφασμένο με το συγκρότημα, για κάποιον σαν κι εμένα που έχει μεγαλώσει με 80s Heavy, Thrash, Speed Metal, κρίνεται σαν ένα ακόμη άνετο και αρκετά ευχάριστο άλμπουμ. Δεν εμπίπτει ειδικά σε κάποια ταμπέλα, αν εξυπηρετεί το Blackened Thrash/Heavy Metal, νομίζω ότι είναι εντάξει για να το περιγράψει. 

Στα εννιά κομμάτια της κυκλοφορίας θα βρούμε τα:

 

- These Shores are Damned 

- Canadian Metal (απόδοση τιμής σε Exciter, Voivod, Anvil, Annihilator, Razor, Infernal Majesty κ.ά. ιστορικά σχήματα) 

- The Church of Real Metal 

- Το ομώνυμο κομμάτι του δίσκου, που λέγεται και γραμμένο από τον Lemmy, τον Cronos και τον Thomas Gabriel Warrior μαζί! 

- Raised on Rock (ε, εννοείται αυτό) 

- Pervertor of the Seven Gates 

- Wisdom of the Dead,

που θα ακούσουμε ξανά και ξανά. 

English:

The Norwegians are one of the most versatile bands. They’ve played Death, Black, Heavy, and Thrash Metal with occasional Punk touches, and here they focus on a mix inspired by Celtic Frost, NWOBHM—with a clear emphasis on the legendary Venom—some Motörhead vibes, hints of Bathory, and a bit of Crust Punk leftover from the early '80s. The two creators and multi-instrumentalists, Fenriz and Nocturno Culto, kindly dedicate the acronym of this album to "the best" (F#ck Off And Die!!!), with the genuine intention of directing this wish toward the enemies of Metal in general. 

Produced in a style that doesn’t aim for the polish of big studio recordings—though this low-fidelity aesthetic has always been associated with the band—it’s still, for someone like me who grew up with '80s Heavy, Thrash, and Speed Metal, a comfortable and quite enjoyable album. It doesn’t fit neatly into any specific box; if it serves Blackened Thrash or Heavy Metal, I think it’s fine to describe it as such. 

Among the nine tracks in the release, you'll find:

 

- These Shores Are Damned 

- Canadian Metal (a tribute to bands like Exciter, Voivod, Anvil, Annihilator, Razor, Infernal Majesty, and other historic acts) 

- The Church of Real Metal 

- The title track of the album, which is said to be written by Lemmy, Cronos, and Thomas Gabriel Warrior together! 

- Raised on Rock (well, of course) 

- Pervertor of the Seven Gates 

- Wisdom of the Dead,

which we’ll listen to again and again.
