Tightly packed at just 30 minutes, this album delivers
some fantastic blackened metal. The vocals and guitars are stellar. While Paul
acknowledges the recording quality isn't top-notch, the killer riffs still
shine through. Sure, it lacks blast beats, but it compensates with a raw,
underground vibe.
Production could be better, but the guitars and vocals
more than make up for it. Paul's screams perfectly complement the album's
essence, and the riffs are truly impressive. It's a shame it's only half an
hour long - a full-length LP would've been amazing. Nevertheless, it's
high-quality music in a niche genre, pushing the boundaries of metal beyond
mere uniqueness by embracing experimentation and creativity. Each song is
solid, and the band clearly poured their heart into making this album flourish
despite alleged label issues. Excitingly, the next LP will be recorded at
Morrisound Studios!
Musically, the album evokes the spirit of Necrophobic,
but with a distinct twist. I'm eagerly anticipating the new album, but for now,
this one is on repeat. The raw recording carries echoes of the past, and Paul
undeniably leads the charge as the band's driving force.
This band has carved out their own sound within the
blackened metal scene, weaving their influences into a unique tapestry. Their
talent shines brightly on this recording, and I'm sure it extends to their
previous work as well. The music is packed with progressive riffs and a
distinctive style.
Finding a physical copy, especially on Amazon or Hells
Headbangers, has proven difficult, as they don't seem to be stocking it.
Thankfully, downloading it from Bandcamp is easy! Check out this album - you
