The Blax ensemble came into existence in March 2020,
founded by the vocalist and songwriter Giampaolo Polidoro, widely known as
Blax. The collaboration expanded with the inclusion of guitarist Marco Fanella,
also known as Hektor, who, within a span of six months, recorded a demotape at
the renowned "Ravel 5 Studio" in Latina. This endeavor paved the way
for the production of a full-length album in 2021.
In 2022, the lineup was enriched with the additions of
Emil Dellantonio (Hexen), Giulia Balestrieri (Katla), and Massimiliano Bergo
(Argex). It was also the same year when Blax inked a deal with AlphaOmega. The
culmination of their efforts materialized in October 2022 with the release of
the album "Meravilia," featuring a collection of ten distinctive tracks.
Notably, among the noteworthy compositions included in
the album is the captivating song "Shady Life."
