EDAIN
is a sophisticated progressive metal band in the extreme side of music close to
avant-garde, death metal and jazz!!!
Don’t
get me wrong but this debut EP from EDAIN who already have two full length
releases, made me very happy and reminds me of the good old times of the 90s
when prog metal was prosperous; there were a lot of private and underground
releases on the market and people were concentrating on music!!!
On
this release we have 6 anthems of well executed prog metal with aggressive
vocals, a lot of interesting breaks, great bass lines and a precise drummer.
Production
is earthy, jazzy and clear, the lyrics are philosophical and I’m sure
progressive metallers will love it all!!
Well
if you want an orientation on this recording imagine a mix of DETTERENT, CYNIC,
DEATH and DREAM THEATER all of them together on all 6 tracks!!!
Nice
stuff, very interesting and surely I’d love to hear and grab their other two
releases.
