THE RAPTOR TRAIL is a
fantastic 3 piece melodic band from the USA. They have existed for 25 years and
there is a musical bridge between Southern rock and psych prog rock.
Well, this is the
band’s third album and contains 10 original anthems divided in 3 parts.
Everything is here, a
tight yet complex rhythm section, fantastic guitar work both on riff
development and great solos, a characteristic mellow yet emotional voice
and lyrics about the American Indian civilization!!!
The production is
great and the songs are right to the point of timing. Musically the album
reaches excellence as there are great bass grooves, nice drumming, smooth solos
and ideal vocal lines!!!
Well everything and
anything is there covered on a nice digipack music package you can realize
stuff like ELP, KANSAS, KYUSS, PINK FLOYD, THE ALLMAN BROTHERS, OUTLAW, BLACK
SABBATH, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, ASIA and many more are among their influences.
Since I’ve
listened to all their albums (3), I really love their music, philosophy of
life, music and artistic cover artwork.
So if you are into
psychedelic music, prog rock, southern rock you won't be disappointed!!
