RICH DAVIS is a multi talented heavy metal musician
from the USA. He is an artist who knows really well heavy metal and technology
and he delivers experimental extreme metal music. Here is a nice opportunity to
learn about this artist through this deluxe DVD and CD edition.
The RICH DAVIS project has a lot of album releases and
videos and he combines extreme metal music with visual combination of really
well performed video clips. I really
like the exact clear sound on these songs and the variation of the influences
that keeps this stuff really interesting. As far as it concerns the songs, I’d
say there is a combination of artists like KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, MACHINE
HEAD, MINISTRY, DIMMU BORGIR, CRADLE OF FILTH, ALICE IN CHAINS, NINE INCH NAILS
and MARLYN MANSON.
For sure it is a very interesting sound and visual
material as this project has a lot of dimensions through compositions and the
videos are interesting. It’s not only through an industrial prism, I could say
but also there are black metal and gothic metal views also.
If you need to hear something different, if you need
to headbang and also think about yourself or you need to relax or have a
philosophic view of metal in general, then this double CD and DVD is for you. It worked for me!!!
