Goodness! It’s been a very
long time since I wrote anything, let alone present a band or an album to you.
Let’s hope I’m not totally rusty and sense can be made out of this. ORION
CONSPIRACY is a one man U.S. based band that’s making its debut appearance in
the black metal genre. “Cosmic Dekostruktion” consists of five tracks that move,
as mentioned above, in the black metal genre and follow its principles and yet
it’s not one dimensional, meaning that the band enriches its take on this metal
branch with an array of other elements thus trying and succeeding in offering
interesting music. So, what you are about to listen to here is black metal
mixed with plenty of electronic and experimental elements, while at the same
time it’s enhanced with a great deal of ambient touches and surrounded by a
minimalistic dark atmosphere. I guess from what I just mentioned you can easily
deduce that this release isn’t addressed to, or let me better say, cannot be
accepted or understood by those who are just starting to explore black metal, but
it’s the kind of release that demands trained ears and black metallers who like
experimentation, primitiveness and diversity. If you think you belong to this
category then by all means ORION CONSPIRACY is waiting for you…
