TYSTNADEN's new single and video,
"Forsaken," delve into the harrowing realities of war and the
pervasive suffering it causes. The band emphasizes the need for awareness among
those living comfortable lives. The song highlights how brutality and pain have
become disturbingly normalized, causing those affected to fade into obscurity.
The music video features a character named Anna, who, through the eyes of
purity, perceives the full extent of hate and suffering depicted as an animated
cubist painting. While the adults and less pure remain oblivious, Anna
momentarily sees them as part of the brutality. Ultimately, everything returns
to normal, underscoring how even the purest among us become desensitized and
forsaken.
