translation of the album title of the Italians TOMBETO CENTRALE is the “silence
of the hill”. The title certainly evokes associations that make you think of
horror movies, although the band has nothing to do with such themes. So let us
see what they have to say musically.
Writing
a review and say what you do not like or what needs improvement is relatively
easy. The difficulty arises when you are trying to describe with several words
something you like or something you do not know, then things become difficult.
This happens with TOMBETO CENTRALE who play a music that I find very pleasant,
but I do not know well. So I will try to imprint the feelings that their album
created in me.
Their
music is lively and full of energy. I could describe it as playful or music
you’d like to listen to at some party. Personally I would say that their music
is a mix of rock ‘n’ roll with punk rock sounds. Beyond the active and joyful
music, if someone checks the song titles, he will understand that the band
deals with serious problems of modern society.
