HEXA MERA - Human Entropy review

HEXA MERA - Human Entropy
Independent
Entropy is a law in the universe which says that everything eventually will come to an end or it will take another form from the one it had in the start. Death is a form of entropy and I think there is no proper band to get inspiration by such ideas than a melodic death metal band. HEXA MERA in their first born album choose to speak about Entropy and how it affects the humans. The idea that eventually we all come to an end and why this happens has been in the minds of humans from the beginning of our civilization and has inspired both philosophers and artists. It might be sad to realize that we all come to an end, but on the other hand we can be taught from such thoughts. So, in a way the debut album of HEXA MERA is a concept release which is supported beautifully by the music of the band. Their sound is a mixture of aggressive riffs, melodies and grooves. I think that they balance between the traditional forms of melodic death metal and they also have a modern touch that is expressed mainly by the down tuned guitars and the grooves. HEXA MERA have nice ideas and combines them in an inspired and fresh way that will enjoy the fans of melodic death metal genre and especially the ones that enjoy good old IN FLAMES and DARK TRANQUILLITY.
