BANDEMONIC - Fires of Redemption review

 BANDEMONIC - Fires of Redemption
Steel Gallery Records
One of the few things that still evolves and makes large steps of improvement in the devastated by the economical war Greece is its heavy metal scene and day by day I have the chance to listen to some good metal bands that don’t only come from Athens and Thessaloniki. BANDEMONIC for example are coming from Ioannina and 2 years after their EP “Chains” which was released in 2012 they strike back with their debut studio album under the title “Fires of Redemption”. Having listened to their previous EP too I have to say that the band stays faithful to its musical path which in a few words can be described as power/thrash metal. BANDEMONIC mix their IRON MAIDEN influences with lot of U.S. power elements and specifically bring to mind ICED EARTH when they play more aggressively and in their epic and melodic moments also bring to mind JAG PANZER. These are their influences but their sound carries the personality of the band, so nobody can accuse them that they copy. BANDEMONIC is a band with talent, will and enthusiasm for metal. They also have good riffs and melodies and they know how to craft good compositions that will attract the listener and keep him/her company for a long time. If you love ICED EARTH and JAG PANZER then here you will find something very good to listen to.
