Braandholt re-emerged in 2019 after being dormant since 2006, leading to the creation of their album "Einder" in mid-2020. Over the next few years, they produced material for two more albums.

"Einder" was recorded in their home studio during winter 2023-2024, mastered by Nikita Kamprad (Der Weg Einer Freiheit), with artwork by Devinez. It was released digitally on August 4, 2024.

The album features lyrics in Dutch and explores dark themes typical of black metal. Songs like "Furieuze luchten" and "In vergetelheid geraakt" deal with chaotic emotions and feelings of being forgotten. "Ondoorgrondelijke diepten" and "Als de laatste zon is uitgedoofd" delve into deep, unfathomable depths and the end of an era.

Braandholt’s music is characterized by frozen riffs and blast beats, influenced by the Norwegian black metal scene. Their sound and vocals are reminiscent of MAYHEM and IMMORTAL, creating an atmosphere of despair and darkness. The addition of mid-tempo, almost doom metal passages, adds an epic feel to their songs.

The band’s tight performance and unique character make "Einder" an album that can satisfy even the most demanding black metal fans.
