Πόσο πιο κλασικό;

Δεν υπάρχουν μερικές φορές λέξεις ή κι αν υπάρχουν, δεν φτάνουν για τέτοια άλμπουμ μουσικής. Η πεντάδα Ian Gillan φωνή , Jon Lord πλήκτρα, Ian Paice ντραμς, Roger Glover μπάσο και ο πολύς Ritchie Blackmore ηλεκτρική κιθάρα, στο τρίτο κατά σειρά έργο τους με τη σύνθεση αυτή (Mk.2) ακούμπησαν κι έμειναν τουλάχιστον για αυτό το άλμπουμ, στο τέλειο. Σε ένα δίσκο σαν αυτόν με τουλάχιστον τρία τραγούδια ορόσημο σαν τα Highway Star, Space Truckin', Smoke On The Water που τα συμπληρώνει το Pictures Of Home αλλά και το πιο country Lazy, δεν μπορεί να υπάρξει αντίλογος. Η remastered  επανεκδόση αυτή, περιέχει πέραν  του κλασικού b' side When a Blind Man Cries, στο δεύτερο δίσκο της τα remix του Roger Glover στα ίδια κομμάτια του δίσκου. Δε χρειάζεται να γραφτεί κάτι επιπλέον, όλα είναι γνωστά για το Machine Head, η Hard Rock ιστορία είχε γραφτεί και στη μουσική πιο ειδικά, είχε γραφτεί με  χρυσά γράμματα αντί για μωβ.

How much more classic can it get?

Sometimes, words just aren’t enough, or if they exist, they fall short for albums like this. The quintet of Ian Gillan on vocals, Jon Lord on keyboards, Ian Paice on drums, Roger Glover on bass, and the legendary Ritchie Blackmore on electric guitar, reached perfection—at least for this album—with their third release as this lineup (Mk.2). On a record like this, with at least three iconic tracks like "Highway Star," "Space Truckin'," and "Smoke On The Water," complemented by "Pictures Of Home" and the more country-styled "Lazy," there’s no room for debate.

This remastered reissue includes, in addition to the classic B-side "When a Blind Man Cries," Roger Glover's remixes of the same album tracks on the second disc. Nothing more needs to be said; everything about *Machine Head* is well known. Hard rock history was written, and in music more specifically, it was written in gold letters instead of purple.
